Title: 2012 Camacho Liberty Distribution

Hello Geeks.

The 2012 Camacho Liberty's are planned to be released at the 80th Annual IPCPR trade show in Orlando, the first week of August. I plan to pick up some boxes at the best price I can find and do a big split.

For those new to CG, I've done this for a few years now. Here is last years thread, I split up 3 boxes, and it went smoothly: http://www.cigargeeks.com/index.php?topic=9774.0

I have requests in to retailers already; I should be able to get box(s) at a good price. These went for $12 per last year, I think prices should be close to that this year. Hopefully, there will be no surprises on the pricing.

1 to 4 Liberty's in their coffins will ship in a $5.00 USPS priority box; over 4 would take the $11.00 box.

Payment can be made via either PayPal or a money order by snail mail.

Just curious to see who might want a few. When responding please give the counts you are interested in. And it's no problem if this goes to 4 or 5 boxes, as I don't mind the work. I enjoy doing this every year. I am a bit of a Camacho fan.

OK Geeks, here's the big update.

I got surprised by my supplier today, his first order arrived early. The 2012 Camacho Liberty's will ship to me this week. Pricing will be the same as last year: $12/per. Shipping costs to US participants shall be; 1-4 Liberty's/$5, more than 4 Liberty's/$12. The canadian shipping costs I'm still working on.

I have also secured a Geek Critique sponsor for this release, and sent JunglePete an IM to fit it in ASAP, so CG can get an exclusive. If y'all see Pete around, tell him to call me.

I will select 6 of the participants of this box split to be the 2012 Camacho Liberty Geek Critique reviewers. Let me know if any of you do not want to be considered. I will sit this one out. I'll just slip the GC stick into the lucky six's box(s).

toby2, Horrido, and many more have asked if they could have one of the chests. Sorry, but the answer is no. One of the reasons that I do these big Liberty box splits is so that I can get the chests. I store cigars in a large cabinet that I built. The Liberty chests fit it perfectly, and they are very difficult to acquire. Sorry guys.

As to the cigar I had last night: it was very good. I may have another today.   :biggrin:

Pretty nice presentation on these Liberties...about as nice as possible. Then when you unwrap that tissue...gorgeous cigars! I'm making plans to cremate one soon.

For some strange reason, I ordered 2 of the Liberty's but to my surprise, there was another stick in there! Geek Math...I love how it all adds up!! Sorry... maybe I invoked the M word too easily and didn't explain (I was joking with it being in all caps and exclamation point of it being this looming fear everyone has). I edited my post to avoid any confusion... I just meant I pulled the tissue off for long term storage because I believe that's the recommended way to store them if you're paranoid about it.

the tracking didnt follow to well, usps said it was still in miami, and canada post never heard of it. it was getting worried myself. Thanks again for doing this
