There was no formal prize before. The guys involved just sent a few sticks to the winner. It was whatever they felt compelled to send. Some guidelines probably would be good. The league has been running in the Yahoo fantasy section before with an autodraft. It can be changed but it seemed to work pretty well.

That shouldn't be a problem. I believe Yahoo! has an app for their fantasy leagues as well. If I remember correctly. The reason I suggest Yahoo is because the league is already created and those returning already have teams. New members will just need an invite and we're good to go.
These days, they all have apps. I think I have used all of the different programs at one point or another.

I don't know about yahoo, but NFL.com can handle up to 20 competitors in a league.
I'm in this year again. I don't think there is an issue with having more than one league. Generally what happens is that there is a whole lot of interest up front but when it gets down to it we end up with about 10. I want to make sure whoever is in the league is good for the prize too. I also find that in leagues with more than 12 people the talent pool is so shallow that it is hard to be competitive if you don't have a good draft. That's why I enjoy 10-12 team leagues.

Two things:
a) We need a 10th man. If we dont have someone sign up, the league wont start
b) Just make the draft at night that Tuesday. Its just an added bonus for those that can make it. If someone cant, they just rank their players like what would have happened if there was no draft.
Regardless, we need to get it all settled soon if this is going to fly.

Alright geeks, looks like we'll have to go with auto-draft. I was trying to get input from everyone to make sure we'd have enough people to go live, but only a couple responded. I'd hate to have a live draft and only a couple geeks in it. Kevin, sorry we couldn't get you in. Tried to get a tenth player, but couldn't find anyone. Next year for sure.
