Those are awesome!.
Holy hell those are beautiful Sam!
Beautiful work...all of them. Love that bent fat one.
Wow! Very nice Sam. Makes me want to start smoking a pipe.
wow! vey nice work.
Sam did you custom cut and shape those stems as well?
Freaking gorgeous!
 :respekt:
:shades: Those are very nice.
QuoteRoscozRevenge - 7/24/2012 4:17 PM Sam did you custom cut and shape those stems as well?
yup... i hand cut the stems from ebonite rod stock. the stem work is definitely the most tedious part of the process but it can make or break a pipe IMO so its well worth the added effort.
Unbelievable craftsmanship, Sam. How long does it take you to make one of those pipes?
Very well done Sam.
Excellent craftsmanship!
Very, very nice!!
You selling any of those on eBay or ETSY? Those are great looking pipes! Well done.

I'm incredibly impressed. And jealous of your talent
Won't be long and you'll be supporting the habit off of pipe sales!!! VERY nice work.
thanks for all the kind words guys! i really appreciate it.
@bruce: it depends on the pipe, but on average i suppose i'm spending 30-40 hrs per pipe. i am getting faster with more experience but still have a ways to go.
@bryan; i not selling yet, but when i do start... i'll likely just launch my own website.
Wow! I am not a pipe smoker (yet!), but those are simply beautiful, and those last two really stand out to me. Great job!! :bigthumbs: :bigthumbs: :bigthumbs:
Impressive work! Im interested to see how much it would take for you to part with those...
Very very very impressive work Sam!
Emerson
that's fine craftsmanship right there!
Very Nice Sam!
Well done Sam....jealous of the skill to make something like that. Works of art IMHO, and fine additions to anyone's pipe collection.
:bigthumbs: WOW man those are beautiful pipes are you selling any of them?
Beautiful pipes Sam. If you decide to sell, I doubt you will have any problems finding buyers.
Wow those are gorgeous. The grain in that wood is unbelievable, and you did a good job polishing them till they displayed it. My favorite is hands down the asymmetrical tulip/egg.
Very nice work Sam :-0
I'm glad i opened this thread....Very nice Sam...Now the 1,000,00.00 question...how much and can you make me one??? (PM me)
WOW, Nice, Very nice, Keep up the good work, Wish I had the time and tallent for what you do..
nice looking pipes.
 those are some very nice looking pipes. I really like the 5th one a lot. Keep you the nice work!
thanks again for all the kind words and encouragement you guys, it means alot. to answer the question of how much, i suppose the answer is there really is no answer. i have a few improvements i'd still like to make before i start selling, i do intend to sell, just not quite there yet. hopefully soon.
Awesome craftsmanship there, Sam!
Great craftsmanship it makes me want to start pipe smoking
Absolutely beautiful.
Very very nice. I hope you let us know when you begin to sell some.
So my badgering worked.....nice job and great craftsmanship very impressive. The fat bowl one looks like a disguised MJ model but hey retro is good.
I am not into pipes but those are beautiful.
Uuuuggggh, I want the tulip/egg! I promised myself not to fall in love with any more pipes but when faced with that... No, no, I'm in love again!
Simply Magnificent... :-0
