Guys, Here are the rules - all the answers to the 10 questions are found on the Cigar Geeks site somewhere. I have mentioned some people by name, obviously if they can remember what they said that will be an easy one. I have also included 2 extra credit questions that can be found on the Internet (but are pretty obscure, I think). First one to get all 10 wins. In the event of a tie, I will take into account the extra credit questions, but those are still bonus.
Here we go:
1. Which 8 1/2" cigar was given a 3 star rating?
2. What did shawneous name his second son?
3. What special thing did tnt956 receive from free from someone he knows? List all 3.
4. Who claimed that Don Pepin Garcia doesn't speak a word of English? Hint, this member met him at a cigar event.
5. According to the site, what is the definition of a Tapado?
6. Who did Jonathan Drew personally give 2 cigars and take on a guided tour of his factory?
7. If you are going to be in Philadelphia, which cigar place do you have to make reservations?
8. What was the first ISOM I reviewed here?
9. What are the types and names of ALL of Duker511 pets?
10. What ingredient does Dave Barry say would drop cigarette sales?
EXTRA CREDIT:
1. In which game did Barrack Obama throw out the first pitch? The teams?
2. Who is Hillary Clinton's (and Bill's) favorite English soccer team? Their nickname?
GOOD LUCK to ALL!!!
Oh hell...
If I win this contest it just proves that I have far too much time on my hands. But I am sure the smoking would be good.
Holy Crap!! I am way too intimidated to even begin to start to think about whether I should even consider the idea of pondering the question of taking a crack at it. Good luck to those who will try!
How the hell did you gather the answers to formulate the questions?
Do you guys really think this is too hard? I can revise the questions.... I wasn't trying to kick everyone's ass - I was just trying to make it a bit challenging.

Don't have time to search anymore since I have to go take a shower and get ready for a meeting tonight. I'll just have to leave Bob to find his mistakes and hope he doesn't. Maybe we'll tie!

I was thinking of the Sox and Angels from 2005..... technically the Sox/Royals hasn't happened. Might have to go to the judges on that one.....

So what the hell is a uromastyx anyway? Sounds like something painful involving your intimate plumbing system! uro - the prefix for urinary mastyx - obviously Greek for chewing a stick Must add up to something like "bite my pipe"???

Like, who gets Bob in trouble all the time? Answer: his pal Tony - stuff like that? You should do one!

Yeah, one of Duker's posts had a whole list of critters he had owned at one time or another. I took my list from that and the other posts I could find in the time I had available. I had a lot of fun with this one! Not sure I want to do it again in the near future though. Got smoke coming out of this old, slow computer I've been flogging while my good one is in the shop.

Yeah, this was fun but not as an reoccuring contest. Maybe next time I will just do one like "I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 20...." easier that way. Thanks for playing!
I really should have been quoting that account at work instead of searching for the answers anyway!
The past hour or so has been the most active I've ever seen this forum! Really got things stirred up there for a little while.
I didnt realize I had ever mentioned ALL my "pets" before. I rescue reptiles that end up at our local Humane Society. I dont usually tell people I have snakes and lizards because I dont really like the idea of caging reptiles and I dont want to encourage anyone. Most reptiles dont do very good in captiveity so I dont want to encourage breeders to keep breeding. Spike was one of the first I rescued and I knew I mentioned him. I do have some others but they arent pets, my pets are Duke, Hera, Diddy, and Heehaw. However, Spike was a good answer because no one knew he was gone. Popeye, Olive and the baby, the parrots are my parents, I was keeping them for a couple years but they're back home now. Over the years Ive had almost every reptile you can name, including a caymen!! I also recently had to get rid of my two big snakes 9 and 11 feet(approximately), they are in a better place with proper care.
thats a real good thing you do there duker
A Uromastyx is a lizard, well actually a family of lizards. I think Larry has one, half of the previously named reptiles are Larrys.
