Once the the sticks arrive (Aug 22ish), I can ship them out anytime from day of arrival to whenever is convenient.I would like to collect payment when I ship, and no later than mid septemberShipping costactual USPS cost from me to you. Under 13oz is up to $4 (Canada $9.50); a 5-pack + packaging is under 13oz. Priority mail flat rate medium box is $11.30 (Canada $14.50 up to 2 lbs), which should fit at least 40 cigars. So yes, if you are not splitting a box, the only advantage to this deal is a savings between my cost to ship vs. $20 from primewholesale - not too much and maybe not worth the hassle. Original Post

I was considering collecting a consolidated Geek order to exceed the $500 free shipping threshold. They have tons of stuff available, but the products I noticed that might be of most interest to Geeks are the LIGA PRIVADA UNDERCROWN and the DREW ESTATE MUWAT. The per stick pricing on these would be, for example, $4.75/MUWAT 5x60, $5.80/ MUWAT 7x60, $4.00/LPU 5x54, $4.80/LPU 7x54.
After I get the order, shipping from me to you, depending on parcel size, would be $3-$11 ($7-$15 to Canada)
Of course any other boxes, products, or splits (AF Chateau, ...??) would be welcome to piggyback on the order as well. An advantage to ordering like this, besides price, would be the opportunity to get several different vitolas at box prices, and not to have to commit to a box quantity.
So, I was wondering, are these prices attractive? Is this something you would be interested in participating in in the next few weeks?

Hey Loren, that's a great idea. Like your trade offers, it is very interesting but I am leaving until the end of August and won't be here to receive packages.
But if my time frame is not a show stopper, I'd be in.
I'd go for some Corona Vivas, Baitfish, Undercrown 5x54 but I'm open to try new stuff too.
Anyway, to make a long story short (too late for that right), I'm in if my dates fit.

when are you thinking of placing the order as I would be interested in one, maybe two boxes...about 125 plus the postage..

I only think his point was that if he could order the same sticks from the same site for the same price and still have to pay shipping charges, why not just order from the site yourself? As someone pointed out earlier, the difference is between being able to split and/or incur less shipping charges, ie $5-$10 rather than the automatic $20 that the site charges you.
you have to buy 500.00 worth on this site to get these prices,they have another site for smaller purchases,but what do I know,my wife said I could say that,yes dear is foreplay in our house

This may answer some of the questions. Couple of things on this idea - I see the benefits as
1) I like shopping for/buying cigars almost as much as I like smoking them (fun for me)
2) For those who want to try in 5 pack quantity but at box prices, or want different vitolas, etc... you can split. I'm happy to split up boxes and send them different ways, and actually I was hoping to find someone to split some MUWAT 5x60 and LPU robustos or Coronas
3) prices seem attractive

That is how every box split and sale is handled here, at least from my experience. The organizer gets the free shipping, which IMHO offsets their time, fronting the money, and the risk that someone will stiff them for an order.

The last of this split went to Dallas today -- Rich's wife will be muling them north across the border. I wanted to make sure she went home with the maximum allowable payload (50 sticks) - I mean, that's just common sense, right? - and Rich (biggsy16) generously sprung for an additional 5 sticks out of his share as a thanks, but really, it's a bomb - thanks Rich
