DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE SENDING CIGARS...
Pack in a non-flate rate box.
Claim the value is around $20-25 (def no more)
Write down something specific as the item: Air conditioner part; broadheads for Archery etc...
It is not illegal, but most PO's don't know it. It's only a couple extra bucks, and I've sent (Sporting Goods: Hunting broadheads) to Karl half a dozen times without any issues.

Quotemike.casey - 3/20/2013 5:32 PM
I smoked these in reverse order based on their name.
{THREE}
This is a very dark cigar, with a few medium veins. The pre-light aroma on this little guy (4.5x52) is intoxicating. I love the barnyard and espresso mix I get from the foot. You can also sense the rich heavy tobacco that precedes strength. I already have a good idea of what I'm about to get into. The V-cut revealed a cold draw of more barnyard, pepper, and espresso or coffee. After a quick light, the prelight aromas become the flavor notes. The barnyard and pepper are the most dominant flavors with coffee on the finish leaving the spice to the retrohale. This is a little powerhouse, that can become harsh if you draw too quickly or too often. There is not any real complexity, while the smoke leaves a dark gray ash, but the flavors it does have are prominent. This is a good daily for maduro lovers that need a swift kick in the mouth.
I'm 90% positive this is a JDN Antano Consul [$4-8]
{TWO}
Cigar number 2 is a much lighter wrapper than the #3, with a very mottled, leathery look. It does have a few significant veins, but those don't scare me too bad. It lit quickly, but didn't give off much smoke. I had to puff a few times to get it going good. At first I'm just tasting smoke. I can detect some subtle tobacco flavors, but mostly smoke. The retrohale is light, and unpleasant. Throughout the majority of the cigar I was able to pick out a few notes of spice, earth, and some creamy something. I'm not too pleased with this smoke. The burn was marginal, and the ash fell every time I moved my arm. Since I'm not a Connecticut smoker I'm not sure where to start to guess. I think I picked up on some DPGesque flavors so how about...
DPG Tabacco Baez SF [$1-3]
{ONE}
This cigar was very aptly named. It is the ONE! Just looking at it is pretty impressive. Firstly, it's huge, a 6.5x56(ish) box pressed torpedo with practically no veins. I've been pretty partial to the V-cut lately so I gave it a shot with the torpedo. It worked out perfectly, as the draw was excellent. Cold draw had some sweet earth, leather, and a nice sweet flavor, honey I think. The first half or so of the cigar is very leathery, with that honey note coming in and out. There was also a sweet tobacco flavor weaving its way through. The second half of this cigar really shined. Leather from the presumably Corojo wrapper was the foundation for an extremely complex smoke filled with earth, spice, minor pepper, and a honey(ish) flavor I finally decided was graham cracker. After the 2nd third I quit taking notes, and just enjoyed the rest of what was obviously a very nice cigar. Cigar three was a great experience. It reminded me of 3 different smokes, but only one comes in anything that resembles this size.
Illusione Epernay L'Alpiniste [$8+]
Thanks Matt, I hope I'm close! :dancing:
QuoteQuikAF77 - 3/20/2013 6:19 PMHere are your results Mike:
Cigar #3 is indeed the mid priced cigar, and you are 100% correct that it is a JDN Antano Consul. I like this cigar a lot, love to pair its power with a dram Laphroaig, Ardbeg, or any Islay really. It was the one I felt might have been to easy due to its distinctive size and flavors.
Cigar #2 was indeed the inexpensive cigar. You were not correct on the DPG TB guess. It was a Vigilante Corojo Robusto. It is not that great of a cigar, blended by Rocky Patel.
Cigar #3 was indeed the top notch cigar. A 6.5x52 box press beauty with a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, and Jalapa sourced Nicaraguan Habano filler, it is the Oliva V Melanio Torpedo. I agree with your review, it is a fantastic cigar, although it is not an Illusione.
Overall good job..I tally your points at 8, 1 each for guessing the correct cost of each, and 5 for being spot on with the JDN.

Well Michael, I was hoping to throw you for a loop with this selection and it worked!
Cigar A- Swag Lavish Habano Robusto, a medium priced stick and rated 4.5 stars
Cigar B- Alec Bradley K-147, a $4 stick but, also rated 4.5 stars
Cigar C- Montecristo Classic Robusto, Expensive and also another 4.5 star smoke
I guess you did guess one correct for price so 1 point for you my friend!
I was afraid you could compare the K-147 because I thought I may have sent you one in the past. These are great smokes for the money and have been a favorite everyday smoke of mine for several years now......
Good job given the circumstances........

Cigar C was: Four Kicks by Crowned Heads robusto Mid priced cigar
Jared, I thought you would fare better with the Four Kicks, you reviewed the robusto extra back in December. Hey, aren't the Round Robins fun?
Chrism305 supplied me with these mystery sticks, labeled alpha, beta and gamma. I'm really interested to know which was the sub-four dollar cigar, and what it is, because they were all pretty dang tasty.
Most of you know that I'm a cigar noob, so my best shot here is to get the price ranges correct. If I do that, I'll be pretty happy. If not, I'll still be happy, just less cocky.
Here goes nothin'...
Alpha: 5" x 52 Robusto. Great, the most common cigar size on the face of the Earth.
This cigar was well packed, burned almost perfectly, and tasted great. The ash was white, streaked with gray, firm, and held for over 1". This stick burned and tasted like a quality cigar. But, I couldn't get over the appearance. It certainly didn't LOOK like an expensive cigar. The wrapper was mottled and splotchy. Almost like a factory reject. So I'm guessing that it is a quality cigar that didn't make the cut.
Guess: Cheap - Alec Bradley 90+ Seconds Robusto
Beta: 6.5" X 52 or 54 Box Pressed Torpedo.
Hmmm. I'm quite sure that I haven't had this cigar before, yet there is a familiar quality to it that I can't place. Chris tried to help me out (I think) by giving me a stick whose shape eliminates many possibilities. (Unless it was rolled by one of his friends who grows tobacco in his back yard, in which case he's just trying to screw me.)
This one also burns like a well made stick. The flavor doesn't agree with me as much as the alpha did, but I think it's probably of high quality. I used Google to try to come up with some possibilities based on the size, shape, and color. I'm probably way off.
Guess: Expensive - Oliva Master Blends III Torpedo (I've seen this listed as 6" in some places, and 6.5 in others??)
Gamma: 5' x 52 Robusto. That only leaves the medium price category for this one. Another robusto means another infinite number of possibilities.
This is yet another well constructed, very nice tasting stick with great aroma. It's well packed, burns true, and holds ash for over an inch.
I have no earthly idea what this is. I scoured CI's website to find a robusto that looked close in color and fit the price range. And my best shot in the dark is...
Guess: Mid-priced - CLE Connecticut Robusto
QuoteCrazyK - 3/15/2014 8:08 AM
Well, I had a very productive evening last night while the fiance was meeting up with her girlfriends for dinner. I managed to smoke two of my three unknowns. I would have smoked the third, but I think I know what it is without smoking it. So here are my guesses/reviews:
#1: Measured in at 6" x 56 - 58 RG, it is a pig-tailed perfecto shape. There are a couple that fit into that size, but I am 100% sure it is a Gurkha Cellar Reserve Hedonism Gran Rothschild since I have one in the humidor already. If it is not the Gurkha, it is an indistinguishable copy. I'll smoke it later and add the review. List price is between $10 - $12, so if my guess is correct, it is the high priced smoke.
#2: Measured in at 6" x 48 - 50 RG, it is a nice double-capped sun grown wrapper which has one prominent vein running down the length, but otherwise slightly oily and very smoothly applied. I cut it with the V-cutter and the draw was right where I like it. It had heavy cedar notes pre-light. Once lit, it gave off a good amount of smoke, and the ash was bright white. This can mean only one thing - a Cameroon wrapper! The start had the typical spicy, nutty notes of a Cameroon and it was very smooth. I would say it is in the mild-medium category. It is very well made, but not a terribly complex cigar. It reminds me of a milder version of a CAO Cameroon L'Anniversaire. The construction tells me Dominican Republic (I think), so I am going to guess it is a Montecristo Afrique Jambo Jambo. Hard to find a reliable price, some places they are on sale for $3 - $4 by the box, others have them at $6-$7. Considering my guess for number 3, I am going to say this is the medium-priced cigar.
#3: Measured in at 6" x 56 - 58 RG, it is a torpedo shape with a nice looking natural habano wrapper. The pre-light aroma is kind of grassy with a bit of dried fruit and some cedar. I cut it with a guillotine this time, and the draw was slightly loose, but still acceptable. Once lit, it gave off a lot of smoke. Right off the bat, I can tell this is a full bodied cigar and a blast of pepper and cinnamon remind me of a good Nicaraguan cigar. The fullness lasts about half-way then it starts to mellow. I was getting more roasted flavours, coffee, chocolate. It was really good! Much more complex than #2, and much fuller. I am going to stick with my guess that it is Nicaraguan, and say it is a Nica Libre Potencia Torpedo. Again, it is difficult to find a consistent price on these, ranging from $2 to the MSRP of $7. I will say it is the lowest-priced cigar.
As always, this has been a lot of fun, and I hope I didn't make too much of a fool of myself with the guesses! Thanks again for the smokes Jared!!

OK...here goes
BANG was a dark maduro robusto sorta. Construction was OK. Little bit of pepper on light up. Fairly even burn. Not much sweetness but definitely a maduro taste. Little bit harsh at times
WHAM was Colorado Maduro. Looked like a corona gorda...about 5.5 x 46 or thereabouts. Good construction. Little bit of pepper on light up. Moderate caramel sweetness lasted halfway through then it seemed to go away. Not a bad smoke at all.
POW was a medium-dark maduro torpedo about 6 x 52-54. Unfortunately, the wrapper suffered a bit of damage somewhere along the line so it was hard to keep lit. The taste was definitely in the maduro range and had a Brazilian tang to it.
So here are my guesses....and believe me they are only guesses!
BANG was the low end cigar. It's identity totally eludes me so I won't hazard a guess.
POW is the medium range cigar. I think it was a CAO Brazilian Samba but, again, that is just PWAG. If so then Ozgener is the responsible party for this blend.
WHAM is the high end cigar and I'll hazard a guess that it was an Illusione cg:4 maduro because it was about the same size and had similar taste for at least part of the smoke. Dion Giolito is the bubba for this one. Nicaraguan tobacco and that sort of thing.
So there it is...let the laughing begin!

Quotenirab - 3/24/2014 3:01 PM
Round Robin "shot in the dark" guesses...here we go!
Cigar A- This is a corona gorda size, and cold draw has a definite "corojo mojo" going, so I think that this puppy is some sort of corojo gordo...but shyte, I don't know! It was good, but did not hold an ash that well. Something keeps telling me that it is a Tatuaje of some sort, but it doesn't taste like any Tats that I've had. So, I am guessing that this is a Gran Habano Gran Reserva #5 Corona Gorda, blended by Rico. This is the budget cigar.
Cigar B- Torpedo, with nice construction, but a slightly rustic look to it. This thing had a very unusual flavor profile for almost the first half, and I could not figure it out. Kinda floral, a bit woodsy, not much spice until the second half. At times, it reminded me of a isom, and other times, not at all. Clueless on this one, so this is a real guess... It's a 601 Red Habano Torpedo, blended by Amilcar Perez Castro. This is the mid-priced stick.
Cigar C- This is one big a$$ cigar! Very well made, with a dirty foot, and hefty as all get out. Not my usual choice for a cigar as rg goes, but this one was fantastic. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, spice, hints of cinnamon, gingerbread at times, and puts out a bunch of smoke. I am guessing that this is a Tatuaje Gran Cojonu, blended by Pete Johnson and DPG. This is the expensive cigar.
Here is hoping that I score at least one point higher than the last RR!! :lmao:

Holy shyte! That is too funny!! The first two guesses were sticks I had never tried, but when reading about them, it seemed like as good a guess as any. As for the Tat Gran Cojonu, I almost bought one to smoke about 3 wks ago, but decided I did not have the time to smoke it. So, as I am smoking cigar C, I kept thinking (which hurt quite a bit) I had seen this cigar before, but couldn't place it. Upon further googlenet searching, I came across the Tat, and said "yep". But of course, one must do more research once they have their answer, and I started to find other sticks that cigar C could have been. Confused again..."yep"! Just went with my gut, and my lucky guesses...not bad for the geek who scored a -1 last year!!!  :lmao:

Here it goes. I didn't even have a good guess on Bingo or Bongo to be honest with you, but cant help gut think I had smoked Bingo before. For lack of guesses, I think I have the ratings right
Bingo was nice looking hefty toro with a maduro looking wrapper. The wrapper and cap were well constructed the flavors stated with some peppery spice on a retro hale the draw was a little tight initially. The burn was perfect with a solid ash. The flavors on the cigar were smooth and medium in strength. I picked up on some cedar then some mocha. This one is throwing me off. I picked up a hint of espresso in the middle of the cigar I think I have smoked one but can't pick it out. This one was the high end cigar
Bango was a robusto before it went up in smoke. It had a Colorado wrapper with a very small nick in it but didn't interfere with the cigar. Very peppery and spicy from the start. The burn was a bit jagged from the start then it straightened out. I enjoyed thflavors of this cigar. I am thinking NIC like I had smoked one before. I am thinking a DPG blend. Vegas Cubanas as the medium priced cigar
Bongo was a toro with a Colorado maduro wrapper. A decent made cigar with a few veins in the wrapper. Right off the bat, this one had a tighter draw with some cedar notes. It was mildly medium in strength. It burned straight but then into 2/3 the wrapper came undone on me and had to lick it to keep it back in place. It wasn't a horrible cigar but it wasn't great either. I am thinking DOM but have no idea who made this cigar and think this one the low end cigar

Quotemike.casey - 3/31/2014 1:41 PM
I'm going to give a guess...
Cigar #1
This was a 7x38 lancero. It had a dark patch on the foot that hinted at a little ligero, nice spicy smell, and medium brown wrapper. I really enjoyed the smoke, which was familiar. Nice flavors, nice spice on the retrohale, and it really hit my flavor profile.
-I'm guessing this a Cain F Lancero (mid-price)
Cigar#2
This cigar was also about 7x38, and really had me stumped. It's not often you find lancero's with a parejo cap, and I have 2. The other seemed pretty familiar, but this one does not at all. It has a noticeably dark cap, compared to the rest of the wrapper, and a few dark spots on the wrapper. The smoke was middle of the road for me and reminded me of a Rocky Patel blend. I'm not aware of any lancero's with this look made by RP, but they put out a lot of 2nds in varying sizes.
-I'm guessing Nicaraguan 2nd Liga F Lancero (low-price)
Cigar #3
This cigar had a very unique size. It was roughly 5.5x40(or 42) which immediately made me think that it was produced somewhere south of Miami. The color of the wrapper, smell, and flavor notes all agreed with that hypothesis. My first guess was a super partagas, or a HU Majestic. The further I smoked the more I changed my mind.
-My guess is a Montecristo (CC) #3 (high-price)
Good Job Mike! :bigthumbs:
Still trying to get the Nuclear Spectrometer calibrated properly before I do my three cigars from Brad.....

Quotenwb - 4/1/2014 10:09 AM
Cigar 1
Prelight –This cigar measures about 5.5 x 54. It sports a dark mottled wrapper which is just a touch darker than milk chocolate, and it has a reddish tint in spots. There is a slightly oily sheen to it, and it has a number of large veins running the length. The roll is almost seamless, and it has a clean triple cap. It is extremely well packed, heavy in hand, and I detected no soft spots. The prelight aroma is somewhat muted but smells a little sweet, and the cold draw is sweet as well.
1/2 - The cigar opens with some hay-like flavors and a short finish. The overall flavor profile is very thin. As it burns, it opens up, and floral notes with some light woodsy flavors in the background dominate. There is no spice or pepper to speak of. Construction is quite good, with a firm salt and pepper ash that holds for over an inch at a time. The burn line was razor straight as well. The only drawback was a slightly restricted draw.
2/2 – The flavors develop in the second half, and it was dominated by cedar with a floral finish. It became a little more full as well, and was some nuttiness in the last third. Construction remained much like the first half.
Overall, this was an enjoyable cigar. It wasn't something I'd buy in quantity, but it was something I'd smoke on occasion. The flavor was good, and the construction was almost exceptional, except for the slightly tight draw.
This reminds me of a cigar made by General Cigar Company. It may be a La Gloria Cubana Serie R No. 5. It is the mid-priced cigar.
Cigar 2
Prelight – This cigar measures about 5.0 x 52-54. The wrapper is a dull brown, lacking in any oils. The veins present are fine for the most part, and the roll is seamless. It is firmly packed, the cap is cleanly applied, and there is a solid feel to it. There are no soft spots, although there is some lumpy areas in the filler. The prelight aroma smells of classic barnyard, and the cold draw tastes of well aged tobacco.
1/2 - Initially, the flavors strike me as remarkably Cuban. Creamy, earthy, with a floral finish. As it burned, the boy crept near a solid medium, but there was a lack of any spice or pepper. It was very good and nicely nuanced. Construction was above average: nice draw, firm ash, and only a slightly wavy burn line.
2/2 – The flavors continue to evolve, with the earthiness becoming more dominant. The finish is nice and clean, and there is quite a bit of complexity. Coffee, earth, and the aforementioned floral character make is a very tasty cigar. Construction remained like the first half.
Overall, this was a very good cigar, one I'd like to smoke again. In the first few draws, I thought it might be an Illusione, but the cigar doesn't look like any Illusione I've seen before. As I smoked, I became more convinced that is might be a Cuban.
I'm going to venture a wild guess and say this is a H. Upmann Edición Limitada (2012) Robustos. It is the high-priced cigar.
Cigar 3
Prelight – This cigar measures about 5.0 x 52-54. The Colorado shade wrapper is mottled, veiny, and slightly oily. There are a couple of spots near the head where the wrapper is damaged, and the tobacco underneath is a very light colored brown. The roll is seamless, and the cap is cleanly applied. It is firmly rolled, although it is pretty light as compared to Cigar 1, which I just smoked. However, I detected no soft spots along the barrel. The prelight aroma smells of young tobacco, and the cold draw tastes a little of hay.
1/2 - The initial flavor is a little "soapy" with a vegetal finish. The soapiness is short-lived, but the core flavor becomes even more vegetal and green. It wasn't really ammonia, as it didn't leave that type of flavor on the finish. After an inch, some spice comes into play. Construction is good: the ash is firm and a stark white, the draw is perfect, and the burn line is only slightly wavy.
2/2 – The one thing I've begun to notice is the aroma – at points, it is quite enjoyable. Then it becomes very acrid, almost like a cigarette. The flavor is better in the second half – mostly woodsy with a touch of sweetness on the finish. The burn line became a little more wavy, requiring a touch-up. The draw and ash remained very good.
Overall, this was a decent cigar, but it isn't one I'd seek out. The flavor profile wasn't something I typically enjoy, and there were a couple of issues with the burn line.
Honestly, I have no idea what this is. Possibly a Rocky Patel Renaissance Robusto. It is the low-priced cigar.

Interesting take on these, I would totally agree with your tasting notes.
Cigar 1 was the God of Fire Serie B 2011 Robusto. I like the subtitles in this cigar, it does require attention to catch everything, especially the floral notes you mentioned. It was the expensive cigar.
Cigar 2 was the Quesada Espana Robusto. It is supposed to be very cuban-esque, so I can understand your guess. It is one of my favorites, but it is getting harder and harder to come by. It was the mid priced cigar.
Cigar 3 was the La Perla Habana Black Pearl Robusto. A nice little yard gar, it was the budget priced cigar.
By my math, you did get one of the pricing levels correct, so I think you have earned 1 point.
I'm glad you enjoyed them, especially that Quesada, if you really liked it, I suggest you start looking for a few sooner rather than later...

OK, here it goes. Jared (The BUrn Ward) really had me thinking on this. I am not confident in my guesses at all.
Rikki - About a 5.5 by 52 belicoso with a very pointy tip. Burn was a little erratic, but ash held firm. Lots of smoke. Not a bad flavor profile, dark chocolate and earth, some leather. Pretty straightforward. I am going to say this is the mid-priced stick. A Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Belicoso? Blended by Nick Perdomo.
Tikki - A 6 inch, very nicely packed and built toro. Burn line was great, smoke was thick, ash held after the initial tap. Left a dry, kind of red-wine feel on my palate. Some nice cedar, wood, and other notes. I have not had many of the Padron 1964 Series, had more of the 1926. So I am guessing a Padron 1964 Imperiales, blended by Padron. The high priced stick.
Tavi - A larger 6 1/2 inch stick, very spongy, with some odd veins. Burn was a bit crazy, but not awful. Flavor was pretty good, strong ligero presence. I am going to guess the cheap cigar though, maybe a Rocky Patel Factory Selects, blended by Rocky Patel.
OK Jared, how bad did I do?

From worst to first!
I doubt very seriously I will be knocking Brian from his lofty perch but, here goes my best guesses......
Cigar C: 6.5X52? Torpedo
This cigar was well rolled and looked to have a double cap. The flavors were mild with some cedar and toast with a creamy finish. The cigar stayed smooth throughout the smoke and was a pretty good stick. The burn was straight and the ash was tight. There were some floral or fruit flavors towards the end of the stick and made me think it was Coast Rican in origin. The final third made it to about medium strength for me. I am guessing this was a Cuba Rica Via Havana Vedado Corojo and a mid-priced cigar.
Cigar B: 5.5X50 Robusto
This stick looked really nice with a toothy wrapper and a firm roll to it. The cigar was essentially vein-free and had just a small seam showing on the exterior. The cold draw was very sweet and fruity tasting. The stick started off mild but, there was a slight harshness to the finish I didn't enjoy. A small tunnel developed after the first inch a screwed up what had been an immaculate burn line. The ash showed every bump that had been on the wrapper with little white bumps and held fairly well. The cigar got a wee bit stronger towards the final third and there were some light floral notes present but, the harshness remained for the entire cigar. By the final third I was ready to toss this puppy but, i stuck with it for another inch and then i could take no more! I think this was some Costa Rican product as well and Maybe something from Vegas De Santiago and a cheapo. (I hope)
Cigar A: 6X60 Toro Gordo
Nice looking stick with a tight roll and no soft spots noticed. This stick only had a triple cap and it was well applied. There was just one tiny vein showing and the seams were tight and smooth. The cold draw was sweet and had a nice spice note to it. After lighting there was a nice blast of pepper in the first few draws which mellowed quickly and the cigar produced good quantities of rich smoke. the burn wavered just a bit but, not enough to warrant a relight. The tobacco stayed medium for the entire cigar and there were notes of cedar, fruit, and a light pepper throughout. This cigar had a great room note as well and I really enjoyed this one a lot! High Priced cigar IMO....(or it should have been)
I am going way out on a limb and guessing this was a Litto Gomez Diez creation, perhaps the 2010 Galego NYC Exclusive?
I am sure I am way off on these but, you never know...... :?:
Embarrass me away Longhorn!

Well, finally smoking my first one today. This is Cigar B from Blgove. This is a box pressed toro, I'm estimating a 6 x 50. Cut very clean with my Xikar double guillotine and has a perfect draw with just enough tightness. It's got a nice tobacco flavor, well constructed and really looks a lot like any Tatuaja Cojonu... but it's not because it's TOO SHORT! This one is hard. The flavor definitely does not scream Tatuaje. It's a little bitter throughout for me, not bad but just really a plain tobacco flavor with a little bit of pepper more significant in the first third than in the middle. Nearly perfect burn and holds ash for over 1 inch. The flavor really smooths out at midpoint and bitterness drops off and the flavor becomes really enjoyable with a little sweetness, maybe a little cocoa mixed with leather. Good smoke output and never needs a relight. This is a really well constructed cigar. Flavor really is nice after halfway point. Based on the size, I'm very perplexed so I'm gonna have to make a guess on a cigar I have never smoked. I guess a Casa Magna Colorado Box Press Toro. Edit: and based on pricing online I guess this is the medium priced one at about $7.50 a stick.

This is my second cigar for the 2014 Round Robin, cigar #1 from blgove. This cigar is a Connecticut wrapper in a 5 x approx. 50 Robusto size. Very smooth wrapper, night solid construction with small veins with a great looking single cap. Wrapper aroma is sweet, like alfalfa. It smells delicious. Very nice V cut and a good draw with a little resistance and a light tobacco taste.
Light went well with a double torch although the foot was a little cracked. It took ¼ inch to self straighten but started good. Initial flavor is a creamy sweetish taste of mild tobacco with a nice hint of pepper. Very smooth. Ash is flaky and falls off easily.
This one pretty much maintains the same flavor throughout. I normally do not enjoy milder cigars that much, but this one is a little more in the mild-med range and has a lot more flavor. Pleasant smoke!
I am going to have to go with the cheap cigar on this one and guess a Perdomo Lot 23 Connecticut Robusto. My only problem is that these seem to be in the $5 range and not less than $4, so I don't think I am getting this one right. This was by far the most difficult to figure out of the 3. I think I have the next down solid.

Last smoke. This is Cigar #3 from blgove. Disclaimer #1: I just so happen to have about 15 other cigars that look and feel exactly like this one in my humidor and there really aren't any I've ever seen like them... except one which I haven't had. Disclaimer #2: blgove made a little rookie mistake, but it may have possibly impacted my guessing. He accidentally, unknowingly, told me which cigar was what price in a pm, early on, but THATS IT. Nothing else, not a hint. I will speak honestly and say I don't know if it may have impacted my guesses for #1 and #2, but definitely not cigar #3. It would not have changed my guess. So.....
This cigar is a long thick dark firm thing. It's about 6.75 x 52 in an oscuro wrapper that looks like nothing other than an LFD. It's got a wonderful smell and cuts perfectly. It has a very nice draw and lights very nice, just like the other ones I've had that seem to be just like it. It's got a nice earthy wood flavor with some pepper kick and smokes like a champ throughout for about an hour and a half. I learned from experience to make sure I'd eaten something because I feel like I got my ass kicked by the time it's done. Great cigar, but not the best of what I think this line is. My guess is the expensive cigar, Litto Gomez Diez Small Batch #.....? Could be 3, could be 5. blgove is fairly new here, odds of him getting his hands on a number 3, not highly likely, then giving it to me... less likely. I go with 5! Thanks gents! Thanks blgove!

I liked the Illusione the best and never had that 90 miles(since the one and only 90 mile I had sucked) but, that was the worst Cuban I have ever smoked in my life!
Congratulations Matt!
Quotemike.casey - 5/2/2014 7:28 AM
Alright, it's a wrap. It looks like Matt wins with the buzzer beater and 10 points!
I'm also going to send Brian a 'Most Improved' prize pack as well!!!
Enjoy fella's. I'll get them out when I can, but our Post Office was mashed up in the Tornado, so it may be a few days. Your patience will be rewarded.
Quotempurtle01 - 5/2/2014 8:28 AM
Thanks gents. But I have to give it to blgove. I'm not sure how many folks that have been around a while would have missed the LGSB 5... Sorry Bruce. And anyone who has a perdomo lot 23, look at their wrappers compared to others. They have a very Perdomo lot 23 look and texture. I lucked out on getting those two, almost to the point that it wasn't fair. Brian, you killed it... If we'd swapped cigars you'd have pounded me. :shy:

That's pretty much always how it works out for the winner. I had a cigar that I have smoked 50 times sent to me last time, and this time as well. The difference was, last time I got the order right.
Quotenwb - 5/2/2014 9:00 AM
To make this really comparable among all the participants, it would be cool to have a Round Robin Robusto pass that limits the cigars to 5 x 50-52 with no pigtails, closed foot, or any other unique identifiers.
Quotempurtle01 - 5/2/2014 11:20 AM
Haha! Then we would all look stupid. That's a near impossible one unless you get a Genesis, a lot 23 or an LP Or something else that just isn't similar to others.
