If I store cigars in a Tupperware for now how many humi pa ks should go in with it for say 30 cigars? Is there an approximate range of cigars to humi pouch? Just starting out so as I get a humidor things will get easier. I know I need a hygrometer as well. What I really need is a temp and humidity gauge. I will get this asap. Any advice on the interim would be helpful.

Found this on Boveda's site :

but that is when using a (wooden) humidor that will suck up part of the humidity. In a tupperdor you might use less.
One thing for sure is you can't use too many packs, better too many than not enough.
One humipack is plenty for a small tuppedor. Don't cheap out on the hygrometer because you will eventually throw a cheap one away and spring for the good digital one anyway, so just do it right the first time. Xikar brand is guaranteed for life, and can be found for less than $19 with free shipping here: http://www.lighterusa.com/servlet/the-7953/Xikar-Digital-Round-Hygrometer/Detail?gclid=CJfdrNbL-b0CFU4aOgod8ngAkg
There are a couple threads on "tupperdors" here. Get yourself a nice "Show" humidor, and get your space from these!

Apparently I don't know what I'm doing with links, but head over to the Humidors and Storage forum and wonder around a bit... A lot of great info there!

When you edit it can be a mess but, just remember.... you can always delete a post as long as it isn't the first post in a thread!
