No, dammitalltohell! But I've still got some unbanded Fonseca 2011 overruns and some other unbanded Quesadas that I'll throw in the box. I'm pretty sure I've got enough to where everyone can take one on me without having to make a "put" in exchange.
My sincerest apologies, gentlemen, for the delays in getting this one off the ground. I hope everyone is still in. I've got it packed and ready to ship tonight if this thunderstorm blows through. I hope I've got enough variety in the starters to make it interesting. Like I said at the start, as long as there is a capital P or Q in the blender's name (or well-known nickname), the brand's name, or the name of the individual cigar, it's all good. And if the box sits on your desk for a day or two, I'm not gonna make a big deal about it. Trust me, I know how life is.
Since my Fonsecas disappeared (something about a wedding of a friend who's last name is Fernandez and a son of mine thought the "F" was appropriate), I have put enough Fonseca 2011 overruns for each to take one. I'm also tossing in a couple of JetLites. If anyone needs a torch, grab one. They'll burn any butane you feed them.

Soooooo......The box shows forwarded. I have no idea why. I called USPS and verified the tracking address was correct. I filed an investigation so the PO is supposed to let me know tomorrow what is going on. I will keep you updated brother.

I spoke with the postmaster at lunch. He said he will check with the carrier as soon as she returns, but he thinks it was mistakenly scanned forward, and possibly sitting in a holding bin. This is weird. I didn't notice this the other day and have never seen tracking end up like that. I'm sure you are right its a usps scan issue and will correct itself and show up eventually.

Yeah, this one is definitely on them.
I just got a reply from my friend Brian, who, like I said before, manages the PO that this pass originated from:
"It says it was delivered at 9:43 am. But there was a notation that said, "This is not a valid delivery address". Then scanned as forwarded. We're getting new technology and scans all the time. I've never seen that one before. Not sure what it means. I'll check it out and let you know something tomorrow."
Brian is good peeps. I've known him for 10 years or so now, and our kids went to school together. He's helped me out once or twice with other USPS issues, so we'll see what comes of this.

Hopefully this will be waiting at lunch today. I will try and get it turned during my lunch break, but first day back in town, so it will probably be tomorrow before I can send out.

The pass did indeed arrive today. I opened and inspected, but did not have time to get it out. I will wrap up puts and takes and send out sometime tomorrow. Glad we can finally get this one rolling!

Karl, my end of the pass is headed your way, finally! Let me know when it gets there.
I had a few issues like our bank account getting hacked. I couldn't bring myself to tell Diana I needed to mail off a package when we were cleaning out the freezer and pantry for food. Luckily, I'd frozen enough pork and chicken in the deep freeze and had plenty of charcoal. I went to the bank to try to straighten everything out and was informed that my drivers license was expired. Great, that's another $48/$15 delinquency fee I didn't have. And then we couldn't find my birth certificate, which meant another $24 to the great state of North Carolina...
I cancelled my debit card and our credit union has been phenomenal in helping us resolve this issue. They've credited me back all the overdraft charges ($30/pop) and their fraud department has managed to recover all but about $200 or so.
Good to see the majority of your money has been returned and the bank is helping you out. I can't imagine this happening to me, I would be out hunting the D-bag down.

It was an eye-opening experience for sure. Without getting into too much more detail, we've got various retirement-type accounts, so it wasn't like we were dead broke, but I didn't want to have to pay the penalties for a loan/withdrawal. And since I'm not gigging anymore, discretionary/extemporaneous cash flow is non-existent. Suffice it to say that account numbers and whatnot have been changed.
I'd still like to know why it only cost Karl $2.95 CAN to mail his to me and it cost me $8.80 US to mail mine to him...
