Smoked about a dozen over the weekend while camping and fishing with my son.  Didn't really take notes on sizes, but the pile of bands left over shows evidence of La Herencia Cubana, Tatuaje Cojonu 2012, Illusione R, LFD, San Cristobal, AB Vice Press, NUB Camaroon, The LOG, Curivari, Diesel, PdR, A. Fuente, & a MUWAT.

How bad was the Log?  Those things look hilarious, and I almost bought a couple the other day as curiosity almost got me.  Didn't though.

It's not terrible, but it's hard to smoke.  I like big ring cigars, but 7x70 is a bit much.  Had it not been for the copious amonts of bourbon & beer, that one may have stayed in the car for the weekend.  The first half of it was kind of bland - rather mild.  I pitched it after just over half because my jaw was hurting from holding it and I wanted something with a little more bite to it.  It was getting better as it smoked, burned straight, and never went out on me - which was the best surprise of all!  I'll give another one a try sooner or later...

I really enjoyed it. I don't know quite what I was expecting, but it exceeded my expectations. I wish I had the space, and budget, to pick up a couple of them to have around. IMO, I think it is a cigar that will only get better with a little age on it.

Kind of suprised.   The robustos are pretty decent.  Takes an inch or so to get warmed up, then they're off and running.

I'm smoking a Curivari BV500 tonight

I'm with you on these, Brad.  Very disappointing, especially following all the hype of the return on Sam Leccia last year.

Hey, everyone!   Haven't stopped by in a while - life was crazy.

Got a chance to smoke tonight.   Went with an Upmann petit corona from March 2010.  These are great cigars, and they're starting to hit their stride.  Clean, rich tobacco flavor with some earth and leather.  There's enough oomph that I think they'll continue to improve.

Weather was nice last night so I got to smoke two shorter cigars:  Upmann Mag48 (the EL from 08; it was quite good!) and 05 RyJ Tres Petit Corona (still a lot of power after 9 years).

Delicious!   Five years of aging and it's still got good strength, but it has mellowed and is super complex.

Burns pretty rough, but the flavor is pretty good.  Maybe a decent Graycliff, at the right price of course.

Edit:  construction on this one is SO bad.  Sad, because it tastes good.  But the ash is like a snowstorm, the wrapper is super fragile, the head is mush.  Wow.

A great pairing as the beer is light and a little hoppy and the smoke is creamy and smooth.

I did not know that.  He must work closely with Gary Griffith (I hope that's right!).  He is, I believe the owner of the Emilio brand, and is local to me. (Phila. PA/Delaware area).  Best cigar I've had in a while.

Yes, Gary (he is the owner of Emilio) distributes Guayacan.  I believe that relationship started at the Chattanooga Tweetup 2012.  Noel had just started his company, and that was his first event.  Gary was there, too, so the wheeling and dealing commenced.  Yet another reason that the Tweetup is such a great event!

CRA La Reloba Selecion Habano(awesome!) and a EH OSOK Desmadroso from Kevin (damn good) on the golf course. Finished a LG Diez Lancero 2010 and now on to a Macanudo Vintage 1984 Cabinet II (yes the Jamaican one and yes from 1984).

True 'dat.  Except I had a 660 Carb this weekend, and it was just too damned big.  Had a few burn issues and wasn't able to cut and correct it easily (Square peg in a round cutter hole).  I'll stick to the smaller rings on this one.

Ramon Bueso odyssey Churchill. Was a fine stick till the last third of the cigar exploded. It cannot be humidity as I maintain a perfect 67% humidity. So I'm blaming bad construction as when I got to that spot it also bloated significantly.
