Moving to 12 July 7 lbs 6 oz (3kg)
As a father with three kids I'm an expert on getting those babies out, none of ours came on time.
First you get a quart of Castor Oil.
Second, have wife drink Castor Oil.
Third, drive down any available rutted dirt road(the rougher the better) as fast as you can in your old pickup with wife firmly strapped I n.
This has a 100% guaranteed rate of success???not necessarily of getting the baby out. Seems when you try to get the oil down her and tell her your brilliant scheme she gets so mad and runs after you it induces labor ;-)

Both my children came kinda late. Both times, labor had to be induced with Pitocin but it all turned out great.
I, on the other end, came almost two months in advance in the 60's and look what it did :biggrin:

My wife went full term and they induced her on the due date. Our daughter has been one of the healthiest children I've seen.
So yes, it is usually better to go a little longer than sooner.
I wonder if Eric's lack of recent activity is due to him being at the hospital, waiting for that baby to arrive today?
I hope so! His wife must certainly be ready to get this done with! :)
