This Undercrown from CRA is a lot better than I thought it would be.
As usual, when renewing my membership (went for 3 years this time), I told CRA to keep the free cigars and put the money toward our cause ...but this year they sent the cigars anyway.
This Undercrown is really good. If the Aurora that came along with it is half as good as this one, I'll be more than pleased.

Other than a somewhat flaky ash, construction was great. It was one of the best Viajes I've tried.

Pulled out an AVE MARIA Corona-size cigar after dinner tonight -- this is from Fernandez's original release -- so it's probably a few years old now.
Despite all the fanfare back then, I found these cigars to be ho-hum... I didn't care much for 'em (as I posted back then) ...
But there's been a slight improvement now that these have aged a bit -- not earth-shattering -- but a bit better smoke.
Started the evening with a Santiago de los Caballeros Maduro Toro, courtesy of Brad (Vroomp). I'm not a huge fan of maduros anymore, but I enjoyed it. It kind of reminded me of an Ashton Aged Maduro.
Just finished a Tatuaje Miami Reserva Series Reserva J21 from 2008. The Reservas are fantastic, and the extra age made the cigar fantastic.
El Triunfador lancero, one from the original release so many years ago. Better than I remember -- and I remembered that these were pretty damn good.
Macanudo Vintage Maduro 1997 Toro this really is a tasty smoke... not complex but just tasty

CLE Corojo Robusto. Been a long time since I had one of the old Eiroa's Camacho's corojo's before Davidoff took the brand but from what I remember this is as good if not better & the price is great $5 & change at my B&M. Recommended for Corojo fans IMHO.
