Seriously...this sucks. Probably never get my hands on one of these. But maybe one of the 10 count boxes sooner or later.
Yeah, I was drooling over that earlier today. Wouldn't that be a heck of a purchase? Maybe if I win the lottery....
Sheesh. The way you guys were talking I thought they were going to be expensive. But only $100 per cigar. What a steal! :-0
That 10 count box sounds good. Just hope these bad boys are really good! Can't imagine they won't be.
WOW. Those sticks, and humi, look fantastic. But just a couple of dollars out of my price range

I've never had a bad high-end Padron - they are all fantastic.
Very impressive looking
Those are gorgeous looking, I bet they stop time.
I'd love to smoke one and have already indulged myself on a cigar that cost $100 some time ago....consensus of that experience is that there is no such thing ....for me....as a $100 cigar that is going to make me think it's worth that much. While it was really good I immediately thought how else I could have spent that kind of money on something else. I use to think maybe that if it was all about the cost then if you have the money to cover it then it's all relative....and while I had the money esp. when I hit a big ticket item in life I did plunk down the money...sadly I know better and my limit for cigars is probably in the $25 range. That doesn't mean that anybody else should not spend $100....but could you do us a favor and do a review on it?
Wow
Won't my wife shyt when see's the bill on what I bought
You all will back me up right?
I'll wait til it goes on sale for like $29.95!.

X2 no tobacco is $100 good IMO
In this case, you are paying for the humidor and limited availability. Much like the Millennium Series or limited edition Opus X Prometheus humidors.
In other words, these aren't $100 cigars.
Burns is saying they will have some

Burns is saying they will have some
So they'll be $120 there.....
the price of exclusivity! Just like high end cars, "I have one and you don't" attitude.
Too rich for my blood, exclusive or not :-0

When you put it that way, it just makes sense to pick one up.
If any of you pick me up for secret Santa this year, keep one of these in mind. :-)
I believe the gold on the humidor is actual gold leaf... You could always try to scrape it off and get a little money back from the cash for gold stores...
As much as I love a really good cigar I would never spend $100 for a single cigar. But I would, and have spendt a lot more than $100 for a good bottle of bourbon to go with my go too's while enjoying that bottle of expensive bourbon. My $.02.

I'd have to beat down anyone who did such a thing.

No matter how much I enjoyed the cigar I'd still feel like I wasted $70.

Very nice but way too rich for my blood...
Yeah, I likely wouldn't even be pressed to spend $50 for a cigar. I don't care who it's made by or which virgin's thighs it was rolled on... not happening. I just wish Padron would offer something new for the everyday guys. I'm sick of their restrict the supply so we can demand a higher price.

Not to defend Padron, but that could be said about a number of manufacturers and every company who produces a Limited Edition.
My opinion on Padron - what they do, they do extremely well. It is the one cigar that I compare all other cigars to as far as consistency is concerned. They don't need, and I wouldn't expect them, to create another cigar for everyday guys. That's what I see the traditional/X000 series covering.

Any of these virgins have names...I said the exact same thing about offering Padron Cigars for the everyday guy and the subject came up about the 0000's series. While they are good there needs to be a really good premium from Padron that is cost conscious for those who can't afford a $50 or $100 cigar...say like $10?
Part of the price includes the humidor as well. From my understanding, when you but one you are then registered with Padron. You are then eligible to buy more of these limited cigars every year. Not sure on the price of the refills. At $100 a pop for singles at initial release, I can but 3-4 family series. That's tough to swallow. I can't imagine a cigar I would rather have than 3-4 family series. That said, if I get a chance at one of these, I will probably get one.
