Those are pretty good cigars in the AM. If you like those, try the Drew Estate Tabak Negra series. Those pack a huge coffee taste that is infused and not just the cap. I thought I sent you one of these before, but I could be wrong.
I had a MUWAT 7x60 yesterday and it was the first MUWAT of any vitola that I've ever had a problem with. The thing cut kind of wonky and exposed a piece of binder leaf that, for lack of a better term, just bothered me throughout the smoke - and the 760 is not a quick smoke!
Maybe I should smoke another one today and hope for better results.
Still one of my favorites, though...

Really good. Great looking cigar that cut well. Burn, draw and smoke output were exceptional. Produced an array of typical Dominican flavors with some unique tasting notes. There was a fair amount of spice as well. Enjoyable finish. I'd say a few more months to a years rest and it will really shine. I'll give it 4 stars easy at the moment.

Never on the JDH. I've seen patches on other premium cigars, including an Opus X. :shades:

Enjoyed another Panacea Green 660 tonight. What a great cigar, and I'm not normally a fan of bigger gauges. Thanks again Kman!
Commute home I had a Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial Cask Aged. The only thing about my commute that I like is that I have an hour to smoke a cigar on the way.
My last night in Johannesburg, smoked a RyJ Romeo No 1
Romeo Julieta Vintage VII Medallas de ORO
ok smoke once I got the stem out and had to relight because I was in a Billiards tournament and it went out while I was shooting and was harsh after that but I view that as my fault. I also missed center with the punch so after a few pics I just used my cutter on it.

I remember being really interested in trying these when they were released as reviews and friends raved about it. It's OK -- well made from quality leaf, burns slowly and evenly, good flavor -- meh ... I guess I expected it to knock my socks off ... but it didn't.

I got a red box (18) of these large cigars in a promotion years ago and still have a handful sitting in the humidor -- a reminder back from when Michael Chiusano, a slick-talking investment manager from NYC and his bro (friend? cousin?) owned Cusano and he used to visit Davidoff in the Dominican to shmooze 'em and get all Cusano cigars made.
The hype has long since died down, Michael talked Davidoff into buying the brand, grabbed aton of money for that and faded into the sunset.

I liked it, not surprising it was an AF Anejo & in my wheel house for size. The cap was really interesting, open but on the cold draw a bit tight so I cut off the little thing that was kinda like a pig tail but not. I would characterize this one a full strength smoke but medium body. Loads of nicotine especially at the last 1/3 or so. Very tasty.

It was okay. I've been smoking mostly CC lately, so it was definitely a departure from those. The flavor was definitely nice, but it was really heavy on the retrohale and put off a LOT of smoke. Like I said, it was okay, but I won't be running out to buy more.
