Title: Humidor Pics
Post by: ccubed33 on 10/07/2014 01:36 PM
Okay so I wanted to start this thread to allow people to share pictures of their stocked or un-stocked humidors. I think it would be really cool to see, especially for someone like me who is in the market for a humidor.

So add some cigar porn to this thread and upload some humi pics!! I would upload mine, but I don't have one just yet. Using a plasic ammo case...

I might not have a cigar cabinet, but I do have a cabinet built into the living room wall that holds my humidors.  There are glass doors that close it off to grubby hands.  And yes those are Gurkha tin signs on the back wall.  Just to give you an idea of the size, those signs are about 3' long and that is my treasure dome on the bottom which is pretty good in size.  May not be the most impressive, but works just fine for me.  I have them all labeled with #'s inside and I have my VH broken down for each one so I know where every cigar is.

Thanks.  Oh and cigar jars are not just for cigars, I keep throwing my bands in one of them.  The silly hygrometers on the front of the ballys are not accurate.  I don't even try to get them to read right, I use the Xikar round hygrometers inside.

I like them. they are a little bland the first third but it pays off as they smoke well all the way to the nub and the flavor just keeps picking up. very light in the head buzz area as well.

I am up to 3 now and running out of space.  I will have to start arranging things better because another humi won't go over well right now.  The biggest one is a old end table that I just decided to make into a humi.  The seal needs some work, most likely I need to put a latch on it.  The door is a bit warped from people opening it by the door for 60 years, not very straight anymore.  I sealed the edge with weather stripping and with the exception of the top corner it is tight.  Since I fight too much humidity in the summer, I haven't bothered fixing it.  I have been able to keep it at 67 for 5 months now, when the heat goes on I will find out if I need to do something.

This was actually an old Howard Miller Curio Cabinet that I couldn't sell on Craig's List for $300! I decided for another $300 it was easier to convert to a humidor than buy another.....

I use three of the MOW 100 ct humidors. One for HTF and Higher end, one for my everyday core smokes and one for longer term aging.  I love the look of these high gloss, awesome MOW graphics and they seal great.

I want a cabinet so bad, just haven't bit yet.  I am spread between two large humidors (my favorite is a nice RyJ one I showed some pics when I bought) two glasstops, two smaller ones, a large cooler, a small dorm fridge (unplugged of course) and two large Husky Tupperdors.  And then probably a couple little tupperware stuck in corners.

Sorry I missed this. I bought trays from cheaphumidors.com and then glued them together length-wise. While I'm really happy with it, I'll be moving this spring and looking for a cabinet solution. The coolidor with the trays is basically at its limit with about 600 sticks.

Quotebmac7754 - 10/8/2014  8:12 PM  I might not have a cigar cabinet, but I do have a cabinet built into the living room wall that holds my humidors.

:-0 good god man!

Took a long time to set up but here is my 85 Bottle capacity Dual Zone Wine Enthusiast Humidor/Winefridge.  Wines in the upper zone at 58 degrees, Cigars in the lower zone at around 64 degrees.  Took a long time to get the set up right to have a stable RH on the bottom zone (65% to 67%) while maintaining a temperature cool enough in the upper zone for the wines,as it is a compressor unit.  But very happy with the way it turned out.  :victory:

Nice set up Ed, although I personally would have bottles of beer instead of wine in the top.
Here is a pic of mine, no dual zone but it keep's em perfect.

Haha me too but it was the only way the wife would let me convert the winecooler.
