Her Royal Highness is away from the castle today and my son, right out of the blue, stated "Dad, wanna smoke a cigar?" "Sure" was the obvious answer. We sat for one magical hour talking in a way that I cannot remember for a long, long time. He had an F55 Quattro and I had a Mi Amor. Finally, the stogie ended and we went our different ways.
I never thought something like that would ever happen ... very cool ... well, back to programming.

Enjoy these rare but precious moments :bigthumbs:

My son is 14, I asked him last week if he was going to smoke a cigar with me when he turned 18...F*%k No was the look I recieved, no words needed.
I get to smoke a cigar with my dad on occasion and we "trade" cigars more regularly. It is a great bonding experience.
Very good man. My oldest son will be 18 in December maybe we will smoke we will see
Been waiting for one of my kids to offer but no such luck yet....
Maybe Alison or Emily will one day though....
I wish my old man smoked cigars. I would enjoy doing that with him. Same with my grandfather. He used to smoke them but gave them up a while ago.
My oldest son is in the Corp. and we usually smoke a cigar together when ever we see each other. It's a great experience.

That is GREAT! I love the time my son-in-law and I spend over a cigar. I get to have this time with him 3 or 4 times a year. They are treasured times for sure.
The closest I have come to this is smoking one with the Mrs once in awhle, like once every other month. And she usually quits half way through so i end up finishing mines and then hers
My son is 8 and my dad died some 25 years ago. So I haven't gotten to do that in a long long time and will have to wait to do it again for another 10 years with my own son.
In the meantime, I try to spend as much time as possible smoking with my brother, my nephew and as many friends as possible or, if it comes to that, alone with my cigar
Cool story, awesome experience
Nice! My youngest joined me for a cigar while we watched the Home Run Derby last evening... he had a CAO Flat Head and I had Montecristo520fromtheisland.

My wife joins me often on the porch. She doesn't smoke, but she spends the time w/ me anyway....I try to sit down wind.
awesome, cherish those moments!!!
That's the great thing about cigars...Father and son enjoying an uninterrupted portion of time that becomes a memory etched into the future. Freeze frame that moment and file it away to bring back at any time.
