It appears I am closing in on Guru status, about 110 (109 now) posts away, so I thought we could have a little fun. For my 6000th post, I will smoke something really nice and post to the "Today's Smoke" thread as usual. You have until that post to guess what that smoke will be, and the winner will receive a nice fiver for their trouble. I don't have anything in mind yet, and I may get inspired by the thread, maybe not. But it will be something limited or HTF from my collection.
In the unlikely event that no one picks the one that I smoke, I will toss all guessers names into a hat and draw a winner, so either way somebody wins.
May the games begin....
Reinado Cigar Geeks Limited Edition. Thanks for the contest and congrats on the upcoming milestone :bigthumbs:
Tatuaje RC 184. Take a nice long smoke for your Guru day.

AF anejo Shark. Whatever the stick may be I hope it burns and smokes well. Thank you for the contest.
Opus X Forbidden X "13"
Cohiba (Cuban) Behike BHK 52
I should have known you'd have one without looking but I checked just in case...Crowned Heads Four Kicks LE 2012 Mule Kick...I managed to acquire 1 and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to force myself to smoke it for fear of not likeing it/not being able to get another.
I've heard the 2015 Angle's Anvil is a similar blend and those are dang tasty.
Bolivar BBF, thanks for the contest Michael
Congrats on your almost Guru status. Enjoy whatever you end up smoking!
Damn, you guys are giving me some very nice choices....keep it up.
Congrats on the upcoming status Michael. I'll go with a Romeo y Julieta (Cuban) Edicion Limitada 2009 Duke
2005 Camacho Liberty
To celebrate your well deserved Guru status, you will be smoking this great, very hard to find and rare:
Cohiba (Cuban) Edicion Limitada 2011 Cohiba 1966
Congratulations on the milestone, and btw, what, if any, will be your Guru name?
Far be it from me to even hazard a guess on such a momentous occasion. Whatever it is I hope you enjoy it to the fullest and put the butt down with regret that it didn't last longer! Welcome to the Guru Brotherhood and all the status inherent to the post...whatever that may be!

Padron 1964 TAA. Has year and a half age and a fantastic smoke.
You want to let the C.G. release sit, you are obviously a man of patience.

I was thinking along the lines as Bruce.
Tatuaje Exclusive Series (S&S 2014) Mister Anderson
I don't know what you are gonna smoke, but a Viaje TNT would be a great way to celebrate this milestone. You've blown up many a mailbox, including mine, and I like fireworks to celebrate occasions, and what is the biggest and best firecracker around...a stick of dynamite...subliminal message sent...TNT!!

Man it took me over 3 years to get 6000 posts, and I posted daily. You living on this site or what?
Partagas Serie D No. 4 is my guess. That's a great cigar.

Running the Fantasy Baseball and College Pick'Em creates a good bit of posts, but yes.....yes I do live here.
78 more posts, any more guesses out there?
I will guess Opus X CFCF Toast Across America 2014 No. 77 "Shark , since you have most likely been posting all across America my friend.
Congrats on the upcoming milestone.

Assuming you only want one guess per Geek, I won't change my guess. Why would I, it's an easy choice, but let me still try to make an even stronger case for it :shamebag:
I will, and hope you do too, stick with the stick that'll stick in your mind as the one to smoke on that very special occasion.
The Cohiba Edicion Limitada 2011 Cohiba 1966, is considered by many as one of the very best Cuban cigar there is. Better than the Esplendidos and the Behike, it’s easily Cohiba’s best cigar and surely one of the best on the Island.
Oh and by the way Michael, if you decide not to smoke it on that special day, maybe you'd consider letting me have it so that I can smoke it on the day I turn Guru :shy: :shy: :shy:
Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios
Sebastien, that is a good point. I will take your LAST guess before the contest. Just in case I smoke one that you guessed or something before the contest in. I am heading to the beach in a week, so it is possible a few good ones are going to become ash soon.

Tats are too heavy o smoke in that beach air. Save those to smoke on a special occasion. ;-)
Even though I said smoke what you want and enjoy it I will register a late quess just in case it gets to the drawing....LFD Diadema Maduro. And I echo Bruce's comment about the code for the executive washroom for Guru's. Just don't leave hair in the soap like he always does!
Drew Estate Liga Privada "JD4"
Congrats on the milestone!
Tatuaje Anarchy 2015. Can't remember if you ordered some or not
Congratulations, Michael!
If you're at the beach, I think a Davidoff Limited Edition 2012 White Edition Robusto Gordo would be a nice cigar to take in with the salty air!
Whatever you end up with, enjoy!
great contest thanks
Bolivar Corona Gigante (isom)
Looks like you are 16 away from the status. I hope you got that smoke ready.

I think there is a pill for that!
Guru of Draft Day
I got my winning 5pack yesterday and man is it spectacular. For those wondering why it took so long, don't. Michael managed the Baseball Fantasy league I was part of and waited to send these to me in part because I had won the loser's prize in the league. I asked him if he'd be willing to ship my winnings in my name for the Cigar for Troops 2015 effort and he more than gladly accepted. He then proceeded to send me the 5pack the same day.
And here it is, so many great smokes, most of them whish list items and all either HTF, LE or rare cigars, at least they are for me. Judge by yourselves.
Thank you very much Michael, Guru of Fantastic Cigars.
Here is a list, in case the picture quality doesn't let you marvel at those beauties:
Looks like a great prize
