 Correct sending to whomever you want that hasnt had a turn yet.  Say we have 10 people, I will make the list of ten.  Somebody gets bombed I will remove that person and update the list to 9.

 No it's going to be bombing practice. Say I send you 5 cigars you accept all 5 as a bomb. Then you pick your next person and send them what you want, so on and so on.  And correct the next person won't know they are next until they get their mail.

 You are absolutely right. So longhorn is starting and whoever he bombs (God rest their soul) will be the first person in the history, do fake puts and takes. Brad won't be the first person in transaction because he is still available to get bombed. I think Brad will have to be taken off the list and he will move to the very end.   I think this works.

Yeah after reading it over for like the tenth time i got it now  :biggrin: you can't bomb until you have been bombed and only those who havent been bombed you're supposed to bomb  :bigthumbs:

I think there is no takes and puts. You just pick a person on the list and bomb them, then they reveal what was bombed to them and smoke them all and are taken off the bomb list. Then they bomb who ever they want on the list with there own cigars that they have.

I guess you could do that too. Just transition the pass with no puts or takes. Probably the best thing to do.

Guys this is really a fun pass to be involved in.  I like the heavy hitting so far, and the transitioning is going smoothly, thanks for those who have left their bomber feedback, and I am leaving for those throwing the bombs as we go.  So we have two eliminated, and here is the list even though bigjohn has already selected a victim.  Fast turnaround brother. Can't wait to see what happen next.

 By the way Longhorn made a comment and if this continues to go well, I will do an annual pass like this if people want to play.

CAO Flavours have a sweetened cap. It's like they dip the cap in a sugar solution. The tobacco is infused but then the addtional sweetened cap puts it over the top...my wife loves them.  Never tried an Acid, but I assume you can infuse the tobacco without the sweetened cap or with.

 Just like the isla del sol which aren't bad but then there is crap like the Thompson explorer which the flavor last about 5 minutes

Seems a lot of people may have missed this and in doing so are possibly alienating some geeks from wanting to be involved in passes that look like members are going over the top to try to "one up" each other. If anyone is alienated they need to get the cry towel out and wipe the snot from their nose.  

In my opinion, I think this is exactly what the pass was intended to do - the rules were set to ensure a minimum amount of ordinance was delivered.

I don't see it as a "one up" game but rather some very generous Geeks throwing some nice cigars at one another.  

And, from what I can tell, no one is keeping score (and if they are they are the real loser here) and it's been a fun pass.

Now, get off my f'n lawn!!!  :angry:

If anyone is taking offense to this I am sorry that is not what I meant to do at all.  I was just trying to point out what was stated in the rules of the pass when it began and not so long ago I was a "newbie" and what was sent in a few of these bombs in this pass would be more than what my entire collection of cigars was. I would have been very "intimidated" I guess for lack of a better word. Just looking at it from a different perspective than some is all.   I'll get off your f'n lawn as soon as I'm finished "watering" your flowers.   :biggrin:  :cheers:  :lmao:

And yes, because of my position I often feel an undue amount of pressure to "perform" when realistically speaking we just don't get the rare, htf, or unicorn sticks around these parts. Or because I'm so busy working I don't have the time to chase down those kinds of sticks or they're only available from retailers that have very seriously put my livelihood at risk in some seriously shady ways... (this industry is not as nice as it seems sometimes,) and as such I won't order from them. I do my best to bomb and bomb well and to pass and pass well but sometimes, I just can't live up to my own expectations of me even though I think I've done well most of the other times, I've been involved in passes and the like. But with this pass, I've been getting kinda scared on this "how do I even come close to that" let alone a "how do I ever top that?" 

So when my turn comes around, I'll put a bunch of sticks in a bag and do the best I can and hope that my ordinance is big enough for the person receiving it to enjoy it. At the end of the day, it's guaranteed to be at least 5 more cigars than they started the day with and I know for me, that's always a win. 

Take my $0.02 with a grain of salt because I'm the only one I'm sure that felt the pressure or likely the only one with balls big enough to admit it. In any case back to you regularly scheduled programming.

I hope nobody is offended or pressured at all to throw an equivalent bomb after receiving one.  Kent you are right, this was intended to stay a certain amount of sticks at a reasonable cost but I think we all knew it would get crazy at least a few times. You guys that have been nailed hard have done a great job at returning the calmness back to the pass.  It's just as nice to see a 5 cigar bomb as it is to see a 10+ cigar bomb.  With this being said I think so far this pass has been going really great, and been a fun one to moderate.  If anybody thinks they may have received too many cigars, my addy is in my profile and I'll help you smoke them(http://www.cigargeeks.com/../images/emoticons/biggrin2.gif).

 As far as pissing on lawns, it was 20 degrees out this morning with frost.  You are more than welcome to chance holding your wee wee out in that air.

I can see what Kent is saying, but the reality is there should be a certain amount of trepidation for newbies, it's only right.  There was for me and there still is; I'm still a newbie, I don't care what my rank says.  I've only been at this for about 2 years, that's infant status compared to a lot of you.  That trepidation also feeds the drive to improve the stash, so it's a good thing!

That said, I think if guys looked at the criteria and thought they could put something nice together in that 5-7 stick $4-$12 criteria when they signed up nobody is going to cite them for bad form.  Not everyone has the same means on this site and I think people understand that not everyone can pull off some of these bombs.

 Sorry if I have discouraged anyone from participating in future passes or caused anyone to feel their bomb was anything less than stellar... It was not my intention~!

In my own defense, I would simply like to state that I had intended to hit Mr. Ninfiction months ago and got tied up with business. I just wrapped a bomb inside a bomb and covered it with an IED to show how much I admired him for his contributions to the site. (Plus it gave me a chance to weed out a lot of singles I had kicking around because I need more room and those damned Diademas don't fit on any shelf!) I had no intention of disenfranchising anyone or discouraging them from following the rules.

It seems I just have a problem following rules~! Perhaps an intervention is in order........ :biggrin:

Here comes the boom guys... really you had to take out my receiving bay on the day we got a palate of cigars into stock guys? Seriously? That's gonna be an expensive marketing bill for me to have to explain to the boss especially when it was all product that I've waited years to finally bring into stock and some of it has been on back-order for months. I really hope Skip and Michael understand when I tell them I'm going to need more Knuckledraggers sooner than they were ready for.

Target has been acquired, ordinance selected, and hell rained on said target through the services of a shipping carrier unknown to me until later this evening when the warehouse hands me a shipping label receipt already. I'll update with tracking on Monday but the bomb may even land on that day...

So I'm here wondering how the bomb exchange went this weekend at Longhorn's hoping Doug didn't hurt him too bad.  Well I get home tonight to a mystery package at the post office and realize the boys don't play fair.  Doug and Brad teamed up on me and both sent me awesome 5'ers instead of hitting each other.  Totally caught me off guard on this guys, and what a group of cigars you sent my way, so much appreciated.  Well played Gents.

 So here is the carnage, Longhorn on the left & DRuff on the right.  And both their names are on my list (not that I would do that)(http://www.cigargeeks.com/../images/emoticons/Whistle.gif).

 Doug go ahead and transition to Brad, and then Brad back to me and we can close this pass out.

Alright everyone, just wanted to thank you all for making this pass such a success.  This had to be one of the smoothest passes I have moderated and thought it was going to be very messy in the beginning.  You all had great turnaround times, awesome cigars being thrown, and I liked the active forum as we went along.  We have one more transition that needs to take place and then I will be closing this one out so everyone gets their points and cigar pass count.

 Just a reminder please make sure you left positive feedback for the person that bombed you.  I have left feedback as well for everyone in the pass as your bomb was received.  I do believe I got everyone but if I missed you please PM me and I will take care of that.
