I'm looking for a new humidor and I really like this on but don't need one this big. Has anybody seen one similar but smaller?
If you shop around, you could probably find it a little cheaper. If you are stuck on having a humidor, I would recommend finding one in the the 300 - 500 ct at a minimum because your collection will grow. Many go to a coolidor for storage, which is an inexpensive way to store larger quantities. If you go to recent articles on CigarGeeks, there is one one coolidors, or you can go to tupperdors too.
Another option is shop craigslist
That humidor can't really be considered a big humidor. It claims 210 count but in reality, you might fit 150-160 cigars in there tops.
You could probably get a little bigger for that money but, you'll never get as much room as a cooler will give you per dollar invested.
Always get something bigger then what you think you need.
The Charleston humidor on amazon looks like the same thing but is 10 bucks cheaper and ships free.
I thought of tuperdors or coolidors but I'm really looking for a desk top piece so I would like it to look good, and by I, I mean my wife. As far as size I don't have a huge collection. The most I've had at one time was after cigar fest this year and that was about 140-150. I really like this style but defiantly agree on finding a better price. All the help I can get is appreciated.
Stash a coolidor in the closet and get a small desktop for cigars you plan on smoking soon. Oh and have you checked out http://www.cigarbid.com and http://www.cigarmonster.com

You know thats just where I have my coolidor, in my closet and two desktop humis with 100 count each... I just toss the boxes in there and call it George
I have this humi and I love it. It looks great and has decent capacity. I like the large storage areas in the bottom. The price is nice for such a quality piece.

X2, this is sage advise. Also remember capacity is a judgment by the mfg based on smaller cigars. Like was mentioned 210 cigar capacity is not all that big and you will lose room with what every humidification device you use. You may feel confident you will never need more room but we all have made that mistake.
One last piece of advise, try not to get one with an analog hygrometer. I find they never seal very well and aren't very accurate
Go with the advice here and get yourself a cooler. Now it might be the nicest looking, but what it lacks in beauty it makes up for in money saved. Granted you don't go crazy buying boxes to fill it up.
+1 on the cooler and check out cigar bid!!
P.s. if you visit cigar bid, buy the biggest cooler possible!!!
Coolers are great, but I also like these desktops for their look. You can't go wrong with at least ONE desktop imo. Storage for singles wise - I always prefer to be able to see as many of them as possible without having to dig and damage. Yes people advise against glasstops but if it has a good seal, they're fine. These are MY personal favorites and can be found on this (http://www.amazon.com/Prestige-Import-Group-Countertop-Display/dp/B00EMICU9A/ref=pd_sim_sbs_201_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=0KFWCYCA4DH9C50WCYER) page: (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61ITAXCJI6L._SL1200_.jpg) (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61EjQ1dSsYL._SL1000_.jpg) (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61Zjp4gDGhL._SL1200_.jpg) All

I have the middle one you posted and I truly love it. It keeps humidity perfectly. I only have to add water about once per week. I agree the cooledors are cheaper and likely keep humidity better, but for my money I like having a display piece too. I really enjoy it when I have people over. Without fail every time they see it their eyes light up and they go over to it and peer in for a little while. Even if they don't smoke there is just something nostalgic about it. With that in mind, the one I have does a great job of showing off the collection. It claims to be a 75 count, I have 70 in there now with room for about 5 more sticks. That is with each row double stacked and I currently have 4 cigars laying horizontally behind the vertical rows. I bought it a year ago and now I'm shopping for another one because it is full. I was thinking of buying another desktop, but then the wife suggested I get this one. http://www.cheaphumidors.com/humidors/large-humidors/belmont-600-count-glass-door-cigar-humidor.html I was all too happy to comply. I see it is a foot in the door for an upgrade to a cabinet later. :dancing: My all time favorite one is the coffee table humidor. http://www.cheaphumidors.com/humidors/large-humidors/the-coffee-table-cigar-humidor.html
