Veteran is 100 posts, you can see the actual ranking list by clicking on the Members List under Site Resources on the left sidebar.

All those questions would be better answered by Rebecca in my opinion. To me, this is her pass and she'd be best at deciding what's what.
But, generally, the requisites for participating in passes and such are either a required post count or status or a minimum of feedback points. Sometimes it's both. One could also be asked to have an older member vouch for him so on and so forth.
Each pass or PIF or Trade could have different participation requisites, but in the end, the "owner" of the Pass gets to decide.

Looks like I would be ruled out regardless - unless I read it wrong does it need to be a number of posts within an amount of days or do you have to have been a member for 60 days & had 100 posts?!? If it is the latter then its around the 12 December before I would qualify as a veteran

Yes, to be part of the Secret Santa you must have been a member for at least 60 days and posted 100 posts. Looks like you won't be eligible this year, but there are always fun passes and such going on that you can get in on. Will be very happy to have you in the Secret Santa next year.

Please make sure your name is on the list if you want to play. (Make sure I didn't miss you if you already told me you want in!) Looks like we are at 41 Santas this year. I will be sending you the name of your recipient on Saturday. Your name must be on my list before then.
Please remember that the gift cigars are supposed to be cigars you feel your recipient would like to receive. Please take a look at any posted wishlists and past reviews to help make good choices. (If you don't have your wishlist public, it might help your Santa out to make it that way, at least for now.)
Please let me know if you have any questions.Title: Re: Cigar Geeks Secret Santa 2015

Thank you, Mr. Wonka.
Everyone should have the name of their recipient now.
Make sure that you have your address correct in your profile, so your gift won't go astray. If you can't see your recipient's address in their profile, please let me know and I will track it down for you.
Again, having a wishlist visible to the public might be quite useful to your Santa.

Post by: Rebecca Silverwolf on 11/28/2015 07:17 PMJust a quick note, before anyone asks.
Six cigars are the requirement. You must send a minimum of five good cigars and one lump of coal.
If you wish to send extra, feel free to do so. I would never stop people from being extra generous at this time of the year. Please do not do anything weird, like splitting some off into a separate "bomb", or anything like that. I don't want to have to try and figure out if someone has not sent the required number of sticks. If you feel extra generous, just throw in the extras.
However, do not feel that you must send anything beyond the six cigars that were described in the original post. Those six are all that is needed.Title: RE: Cigar Geeks Secret Santa 2015
