I had a tough time lettin the Triple Maddy's pass
10 AB Tempus for $28...man, fortunately I haven't tried my Tempus yet so I can let these pass me by in ignorance, I may regret it once I try my Tempus :lmao:
Per Chuck (I think?), I need to try the Partagas Black Labels again. Grabbed a fiver of the coronas for $14!
Nice grab.

You'll be regretting that decision~!!! :shades:
One thing to submit...ordered a single fiver of some Quesada 40th robustos. Came in a box with and air pillow bouncing all around. Luckily nothing damaged and a GREAT price, but I was a but miffed by the less than stellar packaging.

This is why we never order a single fiver in one go.
$16 and free shipping couldn't go wrong.
Michael I just got a 5'er in today as well. The 5-pack was on the bottom of the box with two air pillows holding it. No damage here but it could easily happen if one of the pillows popped, or shrank in the cold weather we are having.
I ordered a fiver from here. No packaging issues and got a great price with free shipping. Couldn't have had a better experience. They got it in the mail very quickly too!

I have gotten several 5ers from them with no issues
This site is a majority stakeholder/owner of my salary...
Its the new devil site!
So in my opinion Cigarpage has gone downhill over the past 6 months.
Prices have been steadily increasing and selection seems to have dwindles a bit also.
I looked today and the 5'er of Alec Bradley Tempus Terra Novo that I picked up for $15 less than 9 months ago are $26 today. That's a pretty steep increase.
I haven't seen a real "deal" on here in a quite awhile. The novelty has also worn off, I still check occasionally as I do like the free shipping but if it weren't for that I doubt I would use CP much.
Just my opinion
You're not alone, I also went on to see if there was a deal on the tempus...nope. Been a few months since I've bought anything. AJ New World is pretty much identical, got a 5er for $15 way back, $25 every time it's up now.

OK here is a little tidbit of info
The everyday price of AB Terra Novo Maduro 5x50 is $26.52 on Cigarpage
The deal today is a screaming deal of $31
So it is apparently a deal to pay extra, I believe they are counting on people not really looking and thinking they are getting a good deal.
FU CP :notamused:
That's not cool. It's like the guys that bid higher that everyday CI pricing on Cbid. It takes 30 seconds to crosscheck pricing, then maybe they would stop pulling this shir.
Yeah, I've discovered that on occasion too, the obvious business plan was to initially gain a consumer base by offering really good deals and gradually easing prices up, counting on the suckers that don't know what things go for on cbid.
The laughable part of it all is that it's ultimately all the same company, just in a different form. The cbid version is still king on price if you have the patience for it...

I do believe that they are in fact 2 different companies
Cbid, CI & Cigar.com are one in the same
Cigar Page is a different entity
Still the fact remains that CP counts on people thinking that if its the deal of the day it MUST be a deal

Yeah my point was they both prey on idiots that do check prices and it's bs, but I just won't buy if it's not a great deal.

agreed
I was referring to Garys post on them being the same
Certainly worth following to see if it is a trend in Thier pricing, if yes then we need to flame them
Kent,
On your next order (if there ever is one) take a look at where it's shipped from. I thought I remember looking and seeing that it's coming from the same warehouse as CI, Cbid, and cigar.com. Do their 5'ers come in CI bags? Pretty sure they did. Even famous is now under the CI umbrella, right? Doesn't matter, it's just funny how many forms they choose to take...

It may be awhile LOL but I will check.
I thought when I checked last time they were different but I could be mistaken
A lot of the guys at the cigar shop found Cigar Page the other day. Just like any site, you have to know if it's a deal for it to be a deal. Just cause it's labeled deal of the day, does not make it a deal!!!
They added AJ new world to their 10ski sale and they're under $4/stick so I'm applying my points to get them within 10% of what they were back in the day and I can be done with them now, HA!
So, over two years later, wanted to revive this discussion and say that with all online cigar retailers... you have to know your price point and if the deal that is being posted is really a deal. Sometimes you can get a cbid price that is a bit cheaper, but have to factor in shipping(and sometimes people go crazy on cbid). The one thing that cigarpage has going for it is that they include shipping. And if you pay attention and know that some cigarpage deals are better then others... you can catch some great non-bid deals.
Like last year got a tenner of AVO Ritmo toros for $49.90... Killer price for AVO ritmo toros. But so-so for others.
