Cigar Geeks

I noticed there is an easy way to accumulate quite a few new database entries by accessing the humidors of folks that are too lazy to enter their own cigars into the DB. You will be helping the database to be more complete and earn that elusive gold badge for doing a little leg work if you you are willing to do just some minor research...... :confused:

 Click on HUMIDORS under site resources (that's over there<<<< on the left side folks) and find humidors that contain lots of cigars. The unlisted cigars (the blue ones) are the ones not currently listed. Look up the cigar and enter the information into the database. You'll have to find a pic of them to add color and you might have to look at more than one site to get the strength and sizes for some but, if you're willing to do some work you get the points~! :shades:

I am about 10 away from Gold. Will have to look

Please keep in mind that it may be in blue because it was not entered at the time but could very well be in the database now. You don't want to mess with the Jackal  :biggrin:

hell i'm too lazy to have anything entered in a virtual humidor....

So far, I haven't purchased a cigar that's not in the data base.

 Yes,,, there are a few that have been entered but there are plenty left~! Hundreds even.... not all vitolas of cigars that are out on the market right now are even in our database~!

 Badge whore?  Not really since it is providing a service to others by doing the extra work. More of a humanitarian effort in my opinion Brian~!:biggrin:

Most of the time if it's in blue in mine it's because I didn't know what it was to add it. I fix it once I am corrected on what it is when I ask

Great idea Brad.

I'd rather always be looking up cigars in CG's database instead of anywhere else, so the more cigars in there the better  :bigthumbs:

And who doesn't like a gold badge :biggrin:

And yes, Brian, the toenails are a dead giveaway that you, my friend, are no curmudgeon. CG has also helped me realize I ain't one either and, that good earthed Geeks need a badge also :shy:
