Here's the deal, smoke a cigar that another Geek(member of this forum) has given you, complete a review for the cigar, post here with the cigar name and the Geek's name the gave it to you and you're entered. Easy right? Yep, that's it. Smoke, type, win cigars.
The nitty gritty:
1) This contest will run the entire month of March (Midnight Central time March 31st 2016)
2) You must be of veteran status by the end of the contest, I assume if you've been here long enough to have received cigars from another geek you'll have your 60 days in without issue by March 31st...and if you don't have 100 posts, get to it.
3) The Geek that provided the cigar must be a member of Cigar Geeks.
4) You must complete a review for said cigar in the database.
5) You must post in this thread by the deadline which cigar you reviewed and who gave it to you, minimum....if you want to acknowledge your undying love for said Geek, that's your choice.
6) Multiple cigars may be smoked and reviewed, limit of 5...but smoke em anyway, someone gave them to you for that purpose.
7) Random generator will be used to determine the winner, each cigar reviewed and posted in this thread is worth 1 entry, you may enter up to 5.
The winner will receive a handsome fiver from me...and if you didn't know already I don't smoke dog rockets...though I may go buy some to provide as a prize
*I reserve the right to modify the rules of this contest at any time and my say is final.
**No purchase required, alternate entry may be made by sending a postcard(to my mailbox), arriving no later than the contest deadline.
Any questions? No? Good, go forth and smoke those gifted cigars! :dancing:

Great idea for a contest, Brian. I've sent out a few Pineapple White Owls to members over the years, but I've never felt the love. :lmao:
This is going to be fun!! I've got a few sticks to smoke and a few geeks to thank for them!

Just reviewed a Tatuaje Limited Release Cojonu 2012 Sumatra that I got from Brian (nirab) in a blind trade for a handful of Liga #9's. Damn, that was an amazing cigar. One of the best I've had recently. I had a different, better experience with this smoke than the prior reviewers. I can't recall if this was one in the trade proper or in the BOMB that came with the sticks. Either way, Brian is the man. Appreciate it brother.
Reviewed the La Palina Black Label Petite Lancero, given to me by Jon aka 1kappasig. Jon has this habit of bombing the shyte out of me every time we herf, and this was from one of those herfs last year. Good smoke from a great geek!! :bigthumbs:

I'm new to the forum but would love to participate. Is that possible?
Quick question...Could the cigar be one purchased from another Geek or does it have to be a gift/bomb?
Just posted in my review of a Quintero (Cuban) (Quintero y Hermano) Favoritos given to me by John(aka Sparklepony) :dancing:

I limited the contest to Veteran Status or higher, which is 60 days on the site and 100 forum posts. Sorry you'll have to sit this one out, but you'll have all kinds of chances if you stick around.

I would prefer they were given to you, bombed or gifted or contest winnings....that being said, if you purchased a "fiver" but received 7 or 8 those extras could be considered gifts or if you bought a sampler for say $25 and ended up with double or triple that those "extras" could be considered gifts.
I'm not going to be doing background checks :shy:
Okay, got you.

The owner of my local B&M claims he is the largest seller of the Leaf by Oscar in Florida. I told him I didn't need to buy any because Vroomp sent me one. He mumbled something about "never meeting a Vroomp he ever liked." My thanks to Brad for sending this maduro toro as part of the OAG PIF and have submitted my review.
Ok guys, only a couple days left, we'll cut this off about Midnight Central Thursday night...on Friday morning when I get around to putting together the list.
All names and cigars will go into a spread sheet, I'll attach and random number to each entry then use the good ole random number generator to a winner. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Got home from vacation late last night and went to go get my mail but the post office was not there. There was just a small package amidst all the rubble. Brian blew me away with this one. Thank you so very much!
It's nice to win a contest. It becomes special someone like Brian takes the time to check your wish list and is generous enough to send outstanding cigars.
Thanks so much, Brian! (http://www.cigargeeks.com/../images/emoticons/respekt.gif)
