Heh. I went with the GA ticket, but was actually thinking about the social ticket and just bringing my own. Figure most of the sticks will be going to the troops drive.

Have you been to any of the past events?

Keep planning on it, but always get sidetracked by other events. Bought my ticket already, then realized I have Rockies tickets that day. Oh well, my Dad and brother can take them!

Well, it was awesome. Met up with Ted, had some good drinks and some excellent cigars. Got a couple of special event only boxes too so that's cool.

Definitely a good time hanging out and meeting up with Cory. Will make sure to go early next year to try and avoid the shuttle! :)

Great venue and the weather was perfect. Will have to remember to submit contest tickets by 3pm though. Was surprised how quickly things started winding down. May consider staying for the after party next year.

Cigar Dojo had a booth this year. Cigar Geeks, being the better community and awesomest of awesomest databases should have a booth too!

Didn't take as many photos as I had planned on...

Looks like a great time. Are the cigars you can buy there priced good?

It was a good time indeed. Here's one pic of Ted and I, the rest are on my Twitter.

I bought a 5'er of pudgy monsters for $40 and a 4 pack of diamond crown for $50. A few people were selling event blends for $100 a 10ct box. I wouldn't say anything I saw was a steal, but better than B&M in most cases. For the early bird general admission price you got 38 cigars (and a box of villigers and some other filter/flavored stuff I gave away), free food, drink tickets, and other stuff. Many of the booth's had free samples. Got the free pipe stuff at one.

Was worth the price of admission IMO. One of the workers said they sold over 1900 tickets for the event, and checked in almost 1800 people.

Picked up a 10 count box of AJ Fernandez RMCF exclusives for $90, a10 count box of RMCF LFDs for $100 with a 3 pack of unreleased event only sticks, a 4 pack of Cornelius and Anthony sticks for $24 (best deal i got at less than half the actual price), the 5 pack of pudgy monsters for $40 and a 6 pack of pepin blue in demi tasse for the wife for $18.

Smoking one of the AJF event sticks now, it's fantastic. I hope the FDA bull s**t doesn't prevent them from putting on the festival again next year.

Those are some pretty decent prices.  Hopefully me and a friend of mine will be going next year.
