Title: What's in the Mail Part VI
Post by: gitfiddl on 07/12/2016 03:16 PM
I figured what with 45 pages in the "What's in the Mail Part V" thread, it might be time for a "Part VI" (the search kept bugging out on me)  So here's what hit my doorstep today:  A 20ct 5 Vegas Gold sampler from CI (5 each of the Robusto, Toro, Torpedo, and Churchill) and a 5-er of the Diesel Unlimited d.5.

A dozen Luis Martinez Silver Selection Hamilton Robustos and two Craftsman's Bench Neptune ashtrays came today.  When I got back into cigars in 2008, one of the first online orders I placed was with Luis Martinez for one of their Silver Selection samplers.  Pretty decent cigars for the most part.  For the next couple of days, they're offering 10% off and free shipping on this combo:  http://www.luismartinez.com/LAST-CHANCE-BLOW-OUT/?sort=&page=2

Received a nice surprise at work this morning!

after I had spoken about suggested cigars I should try, John Scoble (Amigodecigars) pm'd me & I decided to add some Costa Rican flavour to my collection!

Purchased a 5'er of Don Guzman "DG's" (5x50) Robusto's

I get that it makes it easier to get the first cigar out, but it's not like it's impossible and for something like those Don Carlos it ruins the presentation...if it's a box of whatever than who cares...anything over $10 per stick use a ribbon or something.

Scored this baby for $65 on the cheaphumidors.com imperfect sale.  Cost $50 to ship but for around $100 landed a nice end table humidor with a very slight flaw in the veneer, barely noticeable.  Surprisingly satisfied with this deal!

I grabbed one of the XXL Floor models too. I haven't seen tracking or anything, hope I'm as lucky as you though. Nice get!

Man I've been wanting to try those triple maduros. I heard they are real full in strength, is that so?

I was skeptical at first because of the fancy packaging...but Camacho has become one of my favorites.  Can't beat the pricing either.  I am one for a very strong cigar and these will not disappoint.

I'll definitely post a review down the road after these have rested up, not sure on the strength, but I love the idea of an all maduro leaf blend, the flavor should definitely be strong...and $2.50/stick?  Yes please.

Triple Maddy's are one of my favorites, not a huge fan of the coronas but the robusto is fantastic IMHO
