If you played last year, just log on to ESPN and you are already in the league. Just post here to acknowledge you are back in. If you played last year and would like to bow out, post as well. No harm no foul. New entries are open, but I need a post here and I will send an invite.
10 pack for the winner, 1 Super Premium for the All Star Break leader, and a couple dog rockets for the worst record, all sent to me up front so nobody gets shafted. Worked great last year), everybody paid.

So far 7 or the 9 players last year have confirmed. All teams are active now and in the league, you should be able to log in.
I will PM Stephen and Nick to see if they want to play. Even if they do, we have at least one open spot if anybody is interested in joining, that would round us out to 10. I will take in groups of 2 after that if anybody who is not in the league wants to join. Just post up if you do.

We were sending a 10pk apiece, plus the 1 super premium for the All Star, and 2 or 3 dog rockets. I split the lot of 10pks around 70-30 between the champ and runner up, so last year the champ got a little over 60 smokes and the runner up got about 30 I think since we had 9 players at ten sticks apiece.
OK, thank you for clarifying. I'd like to suggest a "wild card" prize for 3rd place.
100 cigars
60 to first place
30 to second place
10 to the wild card...aka third place...
Just a suggestion, since there are many changes coming to our beloved game, and we already have the wildcard, I figure, why not? I did not like the idea of the wild card when it first came out, but I've grown to love it...especially in 2002!! GO HALOS!!

Thanks for the interest. This is where we stand. Since we send sticks ahead of time, not much risk in letting a newb play. However, I am waiting on nkowal to decide to play. If he is in, I can let you in and that puts us at 10, I will close and draft. If he is out, I am trying to keep at even numbers so no bye weeks, so I would be closed at 8 unless someone else jumps in with you as well. I have a feeling he will play, but we shall see. I will update you guys as soon as I hear.

Looks like the draft went off, have a full roster. Not feeling as confident this year as last. When I open my roster last year I know I had a decent team, cannot say the same this year. But only time will tell.
I'm digging my lineup my but my pitching staff is going to take some major work this year....
I changed my settings to grab pitching in the first couple rounds, I think it worked well...might be lacking in the field though..did get some nice names. Hard to say what is going to happen until they start playing.
The season is a marathon not a sprint!
I rigged the draft - paid off the ESPN Autodraft Computer.....but I think the computer wizards just hacked my account - took my money - and sold me out.
OHHH WELLLLL - it's all good - long as I don't finish last - I DO NOT WANT A BOX of Chocolates (Dog Nuggets - Crusty Rockets) when the season ends.
I feel like half my team is already DTD i swear I don't understand how easy it is for MLB players to get hurt.

You could go the klammi route and use 10 relief pitchers. His team has been on fire the last several weeks. I have a feeling he's the new force to reckon with.

My team has been injury prone all year... I think I've averaged 4-5 guys on the DL week in and week out. Sitting at 6 guys now.

Came down to wire today. Very active waiver wires this weekend and a 6 point deficit heading into today. My MVP Chris Sale didn't get his last start of the season but some awesome managerial skills more than covered the deficit today.
That's a long hard season to stay on top. Great job guys, already looking forward to next year!

I am moving my team to LA, unless I can get a new stadium. This one is almost 2 years old.
I can break my season into three sections
Strong opening going 4-1
Middle really sucked and was my down fall 2-8
Finished strong going 6-2 including two post season wins
Still a solid 5th place finish
I'm looking to replace my manager for sure and conditioning and medical staff... Don't need 4-6 guys on the dl at any one given time throughout my entire year.
