Sure glad I found this site.
I have been a (beer) homebrewer for over 25 years but decided to give it up.
So I needed another "time and money sink".

What could be better?  Nothing!
I really know nothing but I am trying to learn. Fortunately there is an official Cigar Bar just a few minutes from home.  And from going there I will say, cigar smokers are a happy bunch!

I am in a learning mode so when someone recommends a particular cigar I want to find out as much as I can so I can relate to it and maybe learn what brand, style, shape, etc I prefer.  Then actually try it and see if I can detect what I am supposed to detect.

Welcome from NW Indiana, you can learn a lot here, got sure!  As far as detecting things in the cigar, that can take some time, but don't discourage yourself.
