It's that time of year, time to get the Secret Santa rolling again. Here's how it works:
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SIGNING UP THANX
I have reached out to Rebecca and due to her schedule being very busy I am going to give running this a whirl this year.
Let me know in this thread if you are interested in participating. You must have achieved Veteran status or higher to be part of this. The cutoff date to get your name in will be November 26th (the Sunday after Thanksgiving), no exceptions will be made to this. You will then be assigned, at random, another person from the list to play Santa for. You will send your recipient a total of six cigars. This will include 5 good quality sticks, which you think your recipient will enjoy. One of these five sticks should be designated as a New Years Eve smoke, typically people have done this with the highest end or most rare stick they send, though this is not required. The sixth cigar you send is the "Lump of Coal" cigar, and should be a smoke that would be worthy of giving to a cigar mooch or annoying relative.
The cigars MUST be sent in time to arrive before Christmas. Please take into account that mail is typically a little slower at that time of year. Also, please remember this is a SECRET Santa, you aren't supposed to let your recipient know you are their Santa. (Until the gift arrives, anyway.)

Veteran status is 100 posts & 60 days active. Since you joined Oct 15th you won't hit it even if you get 100 posts in I believe. Really just a rule to protect everyone, says nothing about you as a person. You've been a great addition to the site. Just bad timing is all.

Just to reiterate what Kent said, do not wait till the last minute. Mail volume is already picking up and will get worse especially the last week before Christmas. I recommend shipping sooner than later so that you do not get something mis shipped or take a road trip in the wrong direction (and it does happen with sorting when it gets crazy busy). Another thing to consider is your recipient may want that Christmas cigar to rest after its long journey before firing that cigar up over the holidays.

But wait, there is more... not only do I need to get an estimate on a chimney replacement, now I have to get a new pair of post hole diggers to replace the mailbox because of the bomb he hit me with and I got my first cigar hat!

Santa Purtle hit me hard! These are all new to me. Matt hit me with a Roma Craft Tobac Wunderlust, the Germany-only release. For added value, he tossed in a Siglo II, a Tatuaje Apocalypse, a Grimalkin, a Padron 1926, a Litto Gomez Small Batch V, a Reinado CG release, and the one I am most excited about - the RON MEXICO! Thank you so much! Finally a Secret Santa that I didn't get it stuck to me.
