While I am still relatively new to the Forum and a recent recipient of a bomb, I wanted to share this story. Saturday I mailed off my first Cigar Bomb to a friend of mine. The guy is 900 miles away, going through a s**tty divorce and does not use a computer for anything but email (I know right?).
That said, he is a fellow BOTL and yesterday I received a text (That he uses, A LOT) with a picture of him Smiling with a fresh stogie and a note that simply said. "Thanks for the Treats!"
It Totally made my day.
So while my collection is sparse and my humidor has more empty space than full, it felt awesome to be able to be able
share some of the things I love with a buddy.
Looking forward to restocking and doing it again in the future :-)
Very cool! I think sharing cigars is one of the best aspects of this hobby.
It's wonderful that you could bring a little joy in the midst of his turmoil.

And now you understand. Waiting for people to post that they received your bombs is like being a kid on Christmas morning. It's great getting a free cigar. It's many times better to give one away.
