Is there a preference on how (if possible) you would like the pictures for the Cigar DB? I seen some with a ruler, some naked. If I over looked it my apologies.
From the instructions on the page when you click the link to upload a photo:
"Please adhere to these photo guidelines:
Each member can only upload 1 photo per vitola.
Original photos only please - nothing derived from other existing photos.
Please download this template (http://www.cigargeeks.com/index.php?action=articles;sa=view;article=49%22) and print as use for a backdrop for the photo. NOTE: Be sure that any settings to scale the document are turned off in the printing properties. A color print out is not mandatory, but nice to have.
Photos cannot exceed 100KB in file size. Here is an article for a useful tool for
bulk processing/reducing your photo images.
Please try to have clear and bright images.
It is important to be able to see the band or bands. Do not submit any photos with bands removed.
No additional objects, text, or other items in the photo please. However, if the cigar came with a coffin or tube, feel free to include it next to the cigar in the photo.
