Hey guys. I need a little advice. I set up a fan in the bottom of my Newair and have an infinite cycle timer on it. What on/off intervals would you suggest?
More than once per day, less than once a minute? I don't think anybody has done a study on the mold suppressant properties of air circulation.
ChefJohn, I run mine 1 hour 4 times a day. Seems to work real good for me.
I have a tower humidor and I have a whole tower humidifier, but I also like to move some air when the main humidifier is off, due to the size of it. I use a pair of 80mm quiet case fans, using a flat usb cable with a wall outlet usb wall wart on a timer every few hours to pop on, to the fans. I still have to beautify the cable arrangement, but it doesn't bug me if wires are out.
