The idea of the pass is basically cigars that you have set aside for a special occasion. There's any number of reasons we smoke sticks, some daily smokes, and then sometimes we get some free time on your birthday, a wedding anniversary, sporting event, child birth, etc that's the idea behind the pass. There's been 2 other passes before with some really stellar sticks! This years sticks have some age and some are harder to find in the $5-25 range, but still a nice selection that i think anybody would be happy to try something they've been wanting to. I don't like being a P & T critic so like i mentioned before if you don't know the rules to a pass then you probably shouldn't be in this one. Also because of the value and customs i've kept this one just in the US. Not sure what else to say there's always been some great geeks and some great stories that have been told, so let me know if you'd like to join and let's have some fun!

It holds up the pass if I can't respond and I just put numbers on the boxes because we have to, but it's hard to put a "price" on an out of production cigar with 5+ years of good age on it! As most of you know I'm not a P & T Nazi and I won't say No, if you see something you'd like take it and do your best to put something in you"d think another fellow geek would really enjoy! Most all of you know more about cigars then I do anyways so who am I to judge! Again I've saved many of these for special occasions I've never gotten to smoke so maybe you guys will and really enjoy it! I did get the box to the Post Office yesterday! So updated the transition page to Kid! So Daniel you are up my friend the box I would think should be there Tues? I sent it priority but I'd say weds at the latest with the holiday! Perfect geek to kick off the pass man hope you can find a few in there that you can enjoy bro!! Also I stuck $5 in the pass for whoever needs to repackage it, I couldn't find a long square Tupperware (I must have lost my good ones or they got used for food argh lol) anyways whoever wants to or decides to repackage the box can keep the $5 from me lol :biggrin: I'm excited to see how this one goes and I hope everyone has a good time and find some sticks they enjoy!! This is a refil; I purchased it for $40 at Stogies in Houston. Shops that sell them for that price have them in stock regularly, so I'd say its a $40 stick. My feelings won't be hurt if somebody under-puts on price to get it. Just make up with other rare-ness or age. Its ultimately up to the pass host though.

Good God I just noticed some of the one's that accidentally "feel in" per Brad!!! :drool: WOWZEERS guys! Like I said only 2 players and they turned over 1/2 the box man what an epic kickoff to this pass, it's getting pretty sick already! LOL

When I repacked the pass, I stuck it in the bottom of the container. Not sure if everyone completely unpacks and inventories the pass when they get it, so it may have been missed.

Cool, I'll get this out ASAP. Might switch up some of the packaging, the tupperwear doesn't really close, so I might switch to larger bags with extra bovedas or something...
Had to remove the tupperwear, not enough space.
Put all finger bags in a gallon ziploc with additional boveda, and increased bubble wrap protection.
Entered puts and takes and submitted the transition, I'll drop this off at USPS tomorrow.

The pass arrived great. Some slight wrapper damage on the Punch India that Ryan had also caught. Looking to redox, larger Tupperware, out by Thursday

The fact that this has turned so many cigars from the seed list is a tribute to what you put in to start this. Can't say there was one cigar I wouldn't want to try that I haven't already.
FYI for those not familiar with the Crowned Heads Sanctuary, Jon Huber did a store exclusive for Smoker's Abby in Nashville. 333 boxes of 12, MSRP $12 each. its a 5 1/2 x 52 trunk-pressed robusto extra using an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It is being made by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. factory in the Dominican Republic and has been aging for 14 months.

Just afraid to send a very very expensive box of cigars out of we don't have verification he's around to participate! Jeff & I are in contact about wrapping this up and mixing in a trade, just wanted to give everyone an update! And Jeff if you are reading this the Punch got smoked last weekend :biggrin: the one with the damaged foot, but it was nothing short of great after the smashed foot! Thanks again to everyone who participated!! This was an epic pass from start to finish I am always blown away with what you guys come up with and this is no exception! Again I will update when Jeff and I have completed our pass/ trade but I will start to leave feedback for everyone when I get some down time!
Just a quick update for everyone, I'm still in the process of working out a box swap/ trade with Jeff so this is still open for now. Jeff had some things then I got super busy, but sent him another email to see what's up, thanks again for everyone for participating it was a banner year for the pass man always blown away by what gets "put"!! Can say it's been hard to keep my hands off some of them waiting for Jeff tho :biggrin: at any rate just to catch everyone up if you were wondering that's why it's still open! Will hopefully get something worked out with Jeff soon!
