I was having the same problem in a pass last year until I noticed that there's a "Confirm" button you have to hit after hitting the transition button.

I've always done puts, takes, then I save and finally I hit transition.

OK everyone here is an update, and not a good one from what I can tell.
I have reached out to Michael (aka MrMoke) in everyway I can think of other than flying down to TX, the price of the cigars in the box makes it almost worth it.
I have texted several times and gotten 1 response until I told him who I was and what I wanted then crickets on his end.
I have messaged him on FB, zero response.
I have emailed him to 2 different known emails I was able to find via online searches.
I am going to try calling him and see if he picks up. I am 95% certain the numbers I have are valid numbers and I have the correct person.
I apologize in advance if this continues this path to everyone who has put cigars in the pass and they have gone missing. I tried to give a guy a shot on his first pass since he joined geeks 12 years ago but it looks like that may have been a mistake. I still try to believe most people are good until I am shown otherwise. We do know he has the pass as that was his last post here on the forum some time ago.
If he truly is in a dire situation I could understand it , but from the looks of things that may not be the case.
This will definitely change the way I do passes in the future.
Sadly this was not a birthday surprise I wanted, this landed at MrMokes house on my birthday :cry:

I am hoping this guy realizes that the consequences of his actions are not worth it and that he will just put the cigars in the mail to the next address on the list. It is possible that the comment (account) of the newcomer was made by the gentleman who knows Michael Teane and I am in contact with but wishes to remain unnamed. A list of the cigars has been sent to this person. He is concerned that an illegality has occurred by having a personal phone number displayed in a public forum. He has been notified that all information displayed comes from public records, and that Michaels address is publicly displayed by Michael himself. This person has said that he will either get the package moving or pay the value of it. So far everyone is behaving respectfully and let's hope it remains that way and that this can be resolved.

So this seems to be about as successful as beating a dead horse. The person in contact with Mr Moke hasn't been able to solve the situation either. Looks like Mr Joke is nothing but a thief. I have been trying to be as positive as possible in thinking there was a good excuse but it seems that is not the case. My personal thoughts is that he never intended on participating in the pass other than to steal the $275 worth of cigars and disappear like the dirty sonofabitch he apparently is (prove me wrong). I apologize for letting him in to the pass and giving him the chance to steal from our Cigar Family. He has now hidden his friends list on FB as he must have caught some flack from the people we were able to contact. I do believe in Karma and she can be a bitch and I hope she puts her big girl pants on for this sonofabitch. I would also hope that Mr Moke is banned from the site for being the piece of $hit he really is.

Okay folks here is the update in a nutshell: Ass clown Micheal Teare steals box of cigars from a pass and is called on it without responding. We reach out to family members to persuade him to do the right thing. In steps his younger brother Super Nick Teare who swears his brother is a good guy and would not steal anything and that he will talk to him and if he can't get him to cough up the package then he himself will pay for the cigars. I send Super Nick the value of the cigars and we agree to give it a few days. Nothing happens. I reach out to Super Nick this morning and ask him what format he would like to use for payment. He informs me that he can not afford to pay for a brother who is too lazy arsed to mail
a package. My response was that his brother was not lazy at all, just a common criminal. I further wrote and told him he himself was not decent because he knew up front the cost of the cigars and could not afford them, but stole three days of our agreement to remain anonymous and my agreement not to further contact family members. He also said he would pass the buck onto another family member who had more influence over Michael. Whatever, when shyte falls, it does not fall far from the shyte tree. The last words from Super Nick Teare were "I hope you have a good Lawyer"". He was referring to all the "illegal" stuff posted here. I wonder what kind of Lawyers can be purchased by someone who can't afford $270.85.
P.S. the new guy who asked "what did he say" in this thread is surely Super Nick. His PUBLICLY displayed profile says so.

Take note Nick, you even knew the cigars were valuable before you committed to paying for them because the message says they were valuable. Nobody asked you to pay for anything, you offered it. My question is why are saying that you didn't know they were valuable when you clearly did. I mean, you responded to the message? Was I to know that you were drunk and did not understand the message? Why make an agreement with me to pay for them as long as I no longer contact family members and keep your name out of it? I kept up my end of the agreement and you chose to renege on your part. Why?

I'm just now reading up on this thread - Can't think of anything to say on this that has not already been said. Kudos to all who have tried to "work this thing out". I'm ALWAYS impressed by how all the Geekster's rally together to correct problems and issues - EXCEPT those members like Mr Moke-must be broke!! Perfect I will take a look and get something in the works this week.
OK all, I met up with Brian (ninfiction) yesterday and got the box pass back in my possession. I have pulled Stephens (Apollo) takes and will get them shipped to the GWN shortly. I can not thank everyone enough for their generosity, patience and all around Geekness in getting this pass back on track after the robbery snafu with Mr. Moke.
Also yesterday I was chatting with a friend of mine who is a Minneapolis fireman and he works with a charity call "Firefighters for Healing" that helps children and families who may need help after a fire/disaster, he is running a fundraiser and I took 10 nice sticks out of the pass last night and donated them to him to help raise money for a great cause.
Thanks again to everyone.
