Title: William Ventura Cigar Factory In D.R. Burns Down
Post by: Brlesq on 09/26/2022 11:06 AM
How sad!  Glad that there were no injuries, but factory/inventory is a total loss for Room 101, Caldwell and La Barba brands.

Well that sucks.  Such a devastating loss for each of those brands. I really like Caldwell cigars and the few Room 101 cigars I've had were good.  Hopefully those brands and their staff can get up and going again soon.

Wow what a punch to the industry, never like hearing things like this. :-(

I"m actually surprised this doesn't happen more often, I'd think even a small fire could get out of hand pretty quickly if it ignited in the wrong place. I certainly don't want it too, but I always wondered? That is brutal, and very sad, said employed around 100 people, hope they can rebuild it

Over a million cigars and who knows how much raw materials.  What a sad day.
