Wondering what everyone's favorite pairing is?
Personally, right now I'm really enjoying either Monte Cristo puritos and a star bucks Sumatra. Or my Romeo Y Julietta puritos and a Starbucks espresso roast. Either way I'm loving the small sticks for a breakfast smoke, having to smoke outside until my lounge is finished in the basement is getting harder the colder it gets.
Personally, I make a pot of Guatamalan Dark Roast in the morning and my wife and I drink that (a few cups each) until it's gone, usually by mid-afternoon.
Our coffee is made and roasted within walking distance from my house. to my specifications.
Pairings? I usually smoke one cigar late morning to early afternoon and (tah dah) whatever I smoke goes well with the coffee.
Life is good.
I very rarely have the opportunity to have a morning smoke, so I haven't tried any pairings. However, I have a bag of Montecristo coffee I won as a door prize that I plan on testing out sometime soon.
I am not a morning smoker, but I am an evening coffee drinker. I like just about any maduro or ligero with a strong french roast.
Edited for typos.
Any solid roast and a Java robusto. Mmmm!
I prefer Kenyan coffee paired with Marsh Wheelings. Yeah, I know I speak of them always. However, you could pair up with perhaps a Cohiba Red Dot Corona. The Kenyan has a rich earthy note that mellows with a smooth tobacco.
I like to sit out on the porch on cool fall nights with a Drew Estate Java and a cup of home brewed coffee. I usually go with bold coffee's but I dont' have a specific pairing in mind. Makes me long for cooler nights just thinking of it!!!
I have two pairings that I especially like.
1. Home roasted columbian dark roast, made strong, half and half creamer, with 2 teaspoons of sugar......paired with ..... a Monticristo Classic # 4.
The sweet creamy coffee combine with a classic flavor in the Monticristo, to make a perfect pairing.
2. breakfast blend coffee (weaker coffee) black, no sugar, no creamer,.........paired with .......a 5 vegas gold .
The mild black coffee and mild creamy smoke, compliment each other in a way that neutralizes the negative effects of both, (did that make sense ??) anyway they go good together.

Sounds like a good pairing. I'll have to try that. :-)
Vanilla I also like Bucks but I generally stick with an Americano topped with a little milk (just to lighten it) with my morning smoke. I generally stick with stronger cigars in the a.m (diesel shorty) and then slowly get into a Pike Place with a El mejor Emerald (cheap but tasty smoke) I have a few cans of Cuban coffee that i enjoy on weekends during the summer :word:
For the evening, a nice strong French roast, ounce of brandy and a splash of Kahlua. Goes well IMHO with any mild to medium full stick.
I like any man O War with an iced latte (quad) with breve. yum!
Pinky's digging up all the old faves. Go Pinky!
Dark roasted coffee (a good French Roast) and an IT Cameroon Legend Baboon (or any other coffee/chocolate maduro) works for me. Even a 6 -12 month old LEC works for me :-)
A nice cup of a good French Roast with any good Maduro (preferably Perdomo ESVs, if they weren't so hard to find) in the middle of the day sounds pretty good to me.

Can't stand anything Starbucks . . . the Microsoft of coffee.
Definitely Major Dickason's from Peet's and a Java wafe.
