Ok, I'll wait a few days to see if we get more players, but for now I want to make some comments about the starter cigars for this pass:
1. 5 Vegas Cask Strength II and AAA -- I never bought a box of either of these, but they are included in some of the CI bundles, so I usually have at least a half dozen of each in my humdor at any given time. I like AJ Fernandez and the AAA comes in some of the AJ samplers. I get the Cask Strength II in either full-bodied samplers or 5-packs, usually from Cigar Bid.
2. 601 and Cubao -- These are two great cigars from Espinosa y Ortega. I like the whole 601 line, so I'll bite on 601 samplers when they are on special. Cubaos are a little tougher to catch on sale, but sometimes you can get them on Joe's Jam or Cigar Bid. No box purchase on these yet, been having good luck getting them in samplers and 5 -ers.
3. Ambos Mundos No. 1 Habano -- I bought a box of these on the strength of the Tatuaje reputation. Not a bad cigar...the Grande frontmark of this blend was number 11 in CA's top 25 cigars of 2010. That said, I don't think it's as good as the other two Tatuaje cigars in this pass...but some rest may improve them.
4. Diesel Unholy Cocktail, Unlimited d.X, Unlimited d.5 -- Some more gems from A.J. Fernandez. This guy is awesome: among his blends are Diesel, 5 Vegas AAA, Man o' War, La Herencia Cubana, Gurka Park Avenue, Nica Libre, Sol Cubano, Padilla Achilles, Graycliff G2 Turbo, and A.J. Fernandez Signature Series. I've tried and enjoyed them all. As with Pepin, I'll try anything that A.J Fernandez blended. Although I'm not in love with all of the above, they were all, at worst, decent smokes if not necessarily a good match for my palate. I really love the Diesel Unlimited, and they are a bargain as well. I've bought 3 boxes of Diesel Unlimited in the last 90 days.
5. DPG Tobacos Baez and Cuban Classic: If you look at the cigars I put in this pass, DPG figures prominently. Cigars under his own name, Tatuaje, La Aroma de Cuba, San Cristobal, and I guess you can count the Padilla Signature 1932 as a DPG blend. So yeah, I'm a DPG whore. Box purchases were the Tobacos Baez, LAdC and the Tatuaje Reserva J21 (pricey sticks, those). The rest are sampler and 5-pack purchases (or sometimes 10-packs on Joe Cigar).
6. G.A.R. by George A. Rico -- I haven't cared for the Gran Habano cigars (also by George Rico), but I love the G.A.R. and try to keep them in stock. I usually get them from Joe's Jam or the Devil's site.
7. Perdomo Reserve Cabinet Series Oscuro -- For those that don't like Perdomo, I encourage you to try one of these. These are med-full, loaded with flavor, and really smooth smoking. Good stuff. The first time I tried these was from CI's Full Bodied Frenzy sampler. After that, I did a box purchase.

I forgot to comment on the RyJ Short Churchill. I ran into an acquaintance at a bar a while back and he offered me one of these. I really liked it a lot, so I bought a box. I've been smoking them occaisionally, but I'm trying to hold onto most of them until they have a few years rest. The box I have is from Dec 09. Corey and I smoked a couple from this box when I went to Texas last August.

Ok, i've got Bob Cordell, Blackirish, and Richard "Ratboy" joining the pass. This will give us the full 14 players, which is the limit I set when I started the pass.
Once those guys get on the participants list there will be some minor shuffling of the pass order.

Glad it made the trip OK, Don. The bubble wrap was Les, the pillows were my doing. I also reboxed it, as the original box was busted up when it got to me. I really like the tupperware Les used, very secure, and it has a hermetic seal. I don't think I introduced the San Cristobal.....but stranger things have happened.
Gents, good news, I asked the wife Wednesday night if she would take the pass to the USPS and she got it out yesterday.
Now the bad news.......I got home late last night from work I had a root canal and a couple of vicodin for lunch, I see the box was not where I left it, but the address label with Bob's address was, the one that I didn't tape to the box ...... Long story short, she mailed it but it is coming right back to Kevin in Louisiana

While this pass is still in the early stages, I want to reiterate some pass etiquette--please consider the following when doing your takes and puts (thanks to Jackal for the text below--I have added a few words of my own as well):
Try and put in cigars of at least equal value as you take. Don't just go by price. Three $4 cigars do not equal one $12 cigar. When you make that kind of substitution, all you have done is diluted the quality of the pass and added more shipping weight.
Try and value the cigars by both cost and availability. If a cigar was $8 three years ago and cannot be found anymore, then it is probably worth more than a $8 cigar. Also, just because a Cuban cigar might be $4 when you buy them by the box, don't take that cigar and replace it with a readily available $4 Nicaraguan.
Don't look at a pass as a place to dump your beat up, moldy or beetle holed sticks.
Don't cherry pick out all of the quality and rare stuff unless you are going to replace the sticks with some super cigars of even better quality and rarity. Think about the next guys down the line and if they would appreciate your takes.
If you're not sure of cigar values, the internet is your friend...look up the prices of your take and put cigars, and use those values as a guide. When in doubt, consider not taking the cigar in question, or pm the moderator for guidance.

Okay, I updated the pass order...I moved Richard to the end of the list, moved everyone else up one. Neil is on deck to receive the pass. After that the pass will continue in the original order until Jackal, who will send it to Richard in Colorado. After that it makes the final leg of its journey back to Korea.

Jerry, Eddie is correct. I put it in the pass. Remember the mystery cigar you got in the 2009 Camacho Liberty box split? It is the torpedo from that same line. I agree, they smell delicious. They smoke well too.
