Great idea. Thanks for letting me play!
Thanks for letting me in this one.
I'm in, thanks.
Sound's like a good one, thanks!
I accidentally hit the decline invitation by mistake and I couldn't seem to get back in to correct the matter. I'm in. Thanks for the invitation.
Fixed it!
Thanks for the invite, Neil. This will be fun. I'm in!
I'm in this one as well. Thanks Neil!
-Paul
Thanks for the invite. I'll play.
Thanks for the invite, Neil, but the humble nature of my cigar collection rules me out. I'm working on that, though, so keep me in mind for the next one.
Okay. I thought Bob would be joining us, but he hasn't yet. Besides him this pass is closed to new participants. I will send the pass off to Les tomorrow. Please look over the pass order and let me know if it needs to be changed for any reason. Thanks for being part of this pass.
sounds good to me. I'll be looking for it. Great starting lineup of smokes!
I just wanted to say thanks for the invite Neil. I've been staying out of passes due to my stock of singles I need to try already. I appreciated the invite though!
Wow, now thats a starting line up of great cigars, looking forward to it!
I got the pass today...I'll try to get it out tomorrow.
Okay, a couple questions...
The Fuente Hemingway looks to be a maduro. Is that right?
There is a ziploc with a Gran Habano Vintage 2002 and three unbanded smokes. Are those not part of this pass?
I didn't want to wait for an answer or I would have had to wait 3 more days to mail this out (weekend coming up).
I got this in the mail and it's on the way to Jackal...
I bought the Arturo Fuente at my B&M. The box says it is a Maduro.
Les, I sent you a PM on the 18th about the extra cigars. I included your bomb in the pass.
Nice puts, Les.

Ok, I forgot about that. I left those smokes in the box :-(

Thanks, it was tough to choose from all the great cigars in the box--what a great selection. Thanks for letting me play.
Jason - The USPS tracking says this was delivered to you yesterday morning. Did you get it?
Based on geography, maybe the pass order should change. This pass goes to Boston, then Florida, then back up to the mid atlantic states. I don't know if there is a reasoning behind the pass order, but sometimes things go quicker if you group it together by geography. If there is a reasoning behind it, carry on as normal.
Box came in yesterday. I will get it out ASAP.

Thats good news. With your recent postal issue, it was a concern.
Take your time and send it to me whenever you are ready. No rush.

I have noticed that in many of the passes the order is close to the same and that the same people keep passing to the same people. Ratboy and I are starting memorize each other's addresses. Except for putting Les first, because I started a little earlier when he join, and Armin last because he asked, I left the order pretty much in the order people joined. If anyone has any scheduling issues with the pass order I am happy to accommodate that. In short, Rich, there's no real reason to the order. I'm surprised they even allow me to be on the internet.

There are some really tough choices. Everything looks great in there. I am racking my brain on the bets P/T choices.
I aim to get this back in the mail on Wednesday.
Puts and takes are done. I will drop it in Wednesday's mail
I'm ready for it!
On its way. Thanks again for having me in this one.
This came in today, but the box was crushed pretty badly, and a humi-pillow had exploded inside the Tupidor causing a pretty slippery mess (what the hell are these things made of?!?) The good news is that the cigars are all in tact and don't appear to be damaged because they were in partitioned by the ziplocks inside.
I've cleaned up the Tupidor, thrown in a new pillow, and will get a new box and bubble wrap this week to repack it in before I send it off.
WTF, I cushioned that thing with air pillows. What is the PO doing that could have crushed it?
Glad to hear that the cigar are intact.

That must be it. :-0 Looked like it was whacked with a baseball bat. The address label was flapping around and hanging on with only about 20% of the adhesive. No idea what happened to the humi-pillow because that was protected inside the Tupidor, but that left a slippery mess. Cigars were in bags so they were saved.
Probably a good lesson for all of us to make sure to keep the humi-pillow in the tupidor but NOT in a bag with the cigars.
I'm looking over my puts and takes now, and need to get a new box and fresh bubble wrap. Hope to have this out mid-week if that's OK.
Puts and Takes are done. Will try to get this out tomorrow.
Don - Are you ready?
Thanks for keeping this one moving guys. Sorry I haven't posted for the past few days. I've been distracted with my son's birthday and a round of cold/flu running through the family. There should be a law that both parents can't get sick at the same time the kids are sick. I digress.
Jason and Bruce, nice puts.
Bruce, thanks for cleaning the pass up, and thanks for putting in another humi pouch. I appreciate you taking good care of the pass.
The pass came in yesterday and all is well. Quite a collection of great cigars I must say. I will try to get it out in the morning. Are you ready for it Eddie?
On its way to Eddie yesterday! Thanks for letting me play
Nice puts. Thanks for the fast turn around.
Nice Don :bigthumbs:
It landed here today. I got home too late to go through it but the outer box is in fine shape. Tomorrow is a long day but I hope to have it back in the mail on Friday, possibly Saturday morning.
Takes and puts done. I'll post DC# and transition shortly.
Hey, Pablo -- should be there for you to pick up today.
Have fun!
Thanks Eddie. I got 'em tonight. I'll try to go through them tomorrow and get it back out.

That IS a good idea. That happens occasionally--especially with those dry-mist tubes.
Ok. Puts and Takes are in. The Pass is wrapped up and ready to get dropped off at the PO tomorrow AM. Thanks for the invite! There's a lot of very nice sticks in there.
-Paul
Paul, thanks for the nice puts.
I just wanted to say that I'm very impressed and proud of all of the participants in this pass. You have held the bar high with your takes and puts, and kept the cigars in the pass at a premium level. Well done, Geeks!

I'm next, you spoke too soon!
I got the pass, will try to have it back on the road in the next couple days.
Puts and takes are done. I'll drop it off at the post office today.
Thanks for getting this back out, and the nice puts.
I dropped it off so its on its way to Ken.
I got it yesterday and it is now on the way to Kyle. I tied the package on the mail mule myself.
*I just noticed I put an extra c in Camacho and I couldn't find a way to edit it. Oh well, I guess we have new brand now...the Camcacho.

Those are some nice puts. This pass is pretty classy. I personally like the much rarer Camcachos better than Camachos.
:lmao:

I'll keep an eye out for it. The goats don't like mules so I'll have to move them to the other side of the place.

Thank you for the edit. I'll just ignore the jabbering gibes from the Dynamic Duh-O.
Ken, thank you for the fast turnaround and generous puts.
Is that picture to show what people look like up in th' holler?
The mule dropped the pass off today. I should be able to get it back out tomorrow or Monday.
Box is on its way to Armin.

Nope! Those kids are from the settlement. The kids in the holler are ugly.
Nice puts, Kyle. Thanks for the fast turn around.
Hey Niel. Apparently the pass arrived at the house yesterday. Been busier than a one armed paper hanger at a home improvement sales competition, and didn't even notice until Miss Cheryl pointed it out. I may not get it back on the truck until Monday. Let me know if that puts a kink in your plans.
Monday is just fine.
Final takes and puts are done, and the package should have been on its way by late yesterday. Unfortunately I probably won't get the tracking number back from the office mail guy until sometime after you already have it. In any case, I will officially transition the pass as soon as I get the number.
Thanks for allowing me to take part in your pass, Neil. It was fun to take the bags out of the container and ogle the sticks. There were some real beauties in there. Some of the best pass porn I've seen!
Thanks, Armin.
Transition completed, box should arrive in a couple days ...
Delivery Company: UPS
Tracking Number: 1z2311730353617120
Nice looking box of cigars that you have coming your way, Neil.
The Pass arrived today.
Thank you to all who participated. You all know what comes now.

Awesome. Thanks again.
Very nice pass, indeed! Thanks for putting in on. I'm looking forward to the bomb too.
Thanks for hosting this :bigthumbs:
They should start falling today.
A note on the CAO Gold Maduro Escaparate. These are the unbanded ones you will receive. These are from 2004. I got a humidor of them from Cigars International last December. The humidity was at 40%, they had no aroma, and were very crisp and brittle. The humi packs in the humidor were as hard as rocks. Who knows how CI had been storing them. After a month I had them up to 60% and the one I smoked needed to be purged regularly. I now have them up to 67% and they have continued to improve. Age them as you see appropriate.
Neil's porch looks like the staging area for SEAL Team 6!
:-0
Wow! Awesome payload....
:-0
Thats a lot of boxes! Thanks so much for letting me participate, it was a great pass
Very nice.
KA-POW!! Neil only posted that picture this morning and I've already been hit! Sneaky bastid' mailed these bombs two days ago! :nono:
No camera availble right now, but in addition to the Anthem, he generously included 2 unmarked sticks of different sizes (both CAO Gold Maduro Escaparates??), a 5-Vegas Cask Strength Toro (a stick that I haven't tried yet . . can't wait) and a MoW Special Edition Figurado (love Salomon cigars!)
Very, very generous, Neil! Thank you!
Got mine today too. I'll post some pictures this evening since things are kind of hectic at the moment. Thanks, Neil! This was a great pass.
The GF said mine showed up today. Can't wait untill I get home to see what's in the box!
Thanks Neil !
I hung up the paint brush for the day so I had time to take a picture...
I can easily say that your generosity is over the top on this one and is greatly appreciated  I look forward to the 4th of July
Neil, thanks again for hosting such an awesome pass. The pass was indeed the bomb, and so are you!
Mine hit today too. Thanks Neil; you are the bomb.
Just picked mine up from the PO today as well. Looks awesome! Thanks so much Neil. Very generous of you!
-Paul
got my bomb from Neil today...what a great way to end this with a bang! Hey neil, are all three of the unbanded cigars CAO Escaparate Gold maduros?
Great pass. I got mine last week and thought I posted about it but I guess I didn't. Thanks again Neil for doing this and the bomb at the end was awesome. Hope you enjoy the cigars you got back.
I smoked my Anthem today in honor of our nation's birthday. It was the best America I've had. Some minor burn issues (had to correct a couple of times), but a smooth an tasty smoke which lasted about two hours. Thanks Neil for sharing this great smoke with us!

:word: I had mine while the fireworks went off - and for some time after they finished too! :-) What a great smoke. Thanks Neil!!!
I enjoyed mine as well yesterday. A nice, long smoke. Thanks again, Neil for the bonus!
