I believe that the Def Sea doesn't have a sweetened tip. You may want to start with that one first.

Ken - The selection she sent you is the better ones of the Acids. I believe that the Kuba Kuba will be the "most aromatic" of the bunch (correct me here if I'm wrong, Rebecca).
You are either going to like these or hate them. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground on Acids. I actually like the Kuba Kuba on a rare occasion in colder weather. It pairs really well with port.

I started with the Blondie which I go back to now and again if I want something light or if I'm smoking around other people who might be offended by some of my yummier cigars. However the kuba kuba was too much for me. Haha hope you enjoy it though, I know quite a few people who do, my B&M can't keep them in stock.

Funny Story:
Tuesday during my birthday dinner, which was at a fancy restaurant, but in the bar area (she forgot to get a reservation), I suddenly smelled marijuana. The people sitting next to us smelled it, too, and called over a bartender, asking about it.
"Oh, it's a cigar," he said, gesturing toward a lone cigar smoker at the bar. A second later, I smelled the tell-tale scent of incense. It HAD to be an ACID.
:blech: Nice gesture. I'll admit I only tried one but that was enough to scare me away from the rest. You might like them.

Yeah, I'll start with that one when they've rested up a few days. They certainly are fragrant! I put them in a small tupperdore of their very own to keep the fragrance localized. Thanks again. I've wanted to give ACID's a try so now I have no excuses left.

Sure you do! Its a lot like those herbal air-freshner cardboard thingies you dangle from the rearview, except 10x more potent!
BUT, if the cops pull you over, you WILL be strip searched for the drugs they will swear that they smelled burning, or at least the inscence sticks they think you were burning to hide the other odor! :lmao:

My shop is open for bidness now that the weather has warmed up. It's no stranger to smells of the different category so I'll smoke it up there.
OK, I've got a confession to make. So you know you get a craving for something because you've been talking about it all day, like a good steak, or a taste of bourbon, or a fine woman? Well all this talk about the Acid Kuba Kuba today was stuck somewhere in my psyche, so its 40 degrees out tonight and I grabbed a 2 year old Kuba and just smoked it on a walk.
I know I poke a lot of fun at the Acids, but I have to confess, the Kubas are good for a change of pace on occasion. And I have to hand it to Drew, because the underlying tobacco is quality stuff (not LP#9 quality, but good), and this cigar held a perfect ash for almost 2 inches. I enjoyed it, but now I just want to get the damned saccharin taste off my lips! :blech:
The best way to summarize it is this: What does a moped, a fat girl, and an Acid Kuba Kuba all have in common?
They're all fun to take for an occasional ride . . . but you don't want your friends to see you do it! ;-)

I smoked the ACID Subculture Ronin Ridiculoso too but I haven't got around to reviewing it yet. They're all pretty good smokes when you want to try something "completely different". Would't want to have one every day though.

I started my freshman year of college in 1967 so I lived through the golden years of hippiedom. I didn't participate in that era though since Adams State College in Alamosa, CO was a cowboy school. We made do with Coors. There were a bunch of guys from Denver and Colorado Springs that got into it pretty heavy though. We thought they were quite a bit on the weird side. Then I joined the USAF in 1971 and that pretty much eliminated me from any possibility of using any funny stuff.
One of my scariest personal experiences was a friend tripping on acid at a movie theater. Let's just say it wasn't cool.
I've seen a few friends get too lose on acid. Some scary times.

Yeah I agree an acid every day would be a bit much. For a change up, or a refreshing different smoke I like them. Each one has a different composition. I'll have to read your reviews on the three you reviewed and see what you thought.
