Wow that sounds Awesome! I wish I was closer.
Some of us Southerners need to do this.
sounds like fun. wish i lived closer.
I plan on being there. :dancing:
How awesome?! Mike will just be getting back from vacation, and I'll be watching his dog. Otherwise, we would both be down. We might be up there for Seattle beer week. Maybe we can meet up then? Details will follow.

Hawaiian shirts are fine. Keystone is fine. I'll be bringing some Deschutes Black Brute Porter and I am hoping to scare up some Olympia, but if you want Keystone.
About the midget strippers, the majority of the house is owned by my parents and my mid 70 year old mother is the one who makes any usage rules. I'll have to ask her about the strippers and get back to you.

GeeksĀ from California need to do the same
Sounds like the making for a great time...
I calculated how far it is and some other stuff if I drove there and look what I got...
Each way it's about:
2800 miles
$300 worth of fuel
2 days worth of driving (if non-stop)
Unfortunatly I might not make it

Sounds like a good time for all! Too bad you can't run down to the old Olympia brewery, Oly was my step dads go to beer back in the day when I was a kid in Oregon. I snaked a few of them out of his fridge as a kid

Have fun guys!!!
Nick. Be sure to go to Geno's in South Philly for an awesome steak sandwich!
It would be nice if we could get a few more geeks, but unfortunately I think it's going to just be the 4 of us. Somebody surprise us and make the trip! :smoker:
Neil, Mark and Michael; I would like to go golfing if the rest you are up for it. We should probably figure out meals too.
Sorry but I haven't golfed in 35 years.

That sounds like a blast. I can't make it, but I know there's about four of us in the Denver area that should do this as well. And next time I post myself smoking a cigar, I'll keep my clothes on!!
HMMM A road trip sounds like a good idea, but the farm is in full swing this time of year and it would be tuff

Besides I don't know if this backwoods plowboy would fit in at a swanky beach house.

You'd fit in just fine. You are over selling the place. It is a nice house on a nicer piece of property, but I'm sure no one has ever used the word swanky for it. It looks like a light green barn. 1400 sq feet +/-.

I looked up the review of the Pineapple White Owl. One review from Twinky. Are we going to judge a cigar on one review? Are others just too ashamed to admit they have tried one to post a review?

So great seeing some geeks hanging out.
Well the NW Geeks weekends has come to a close. :-(
We all had a great time and Neil was an excellent host. We all received some excellent cigars from one another, had some good conversation, good food, and took in a good ballgame... Neil, next year we want a guaranteed win. We had good weather and the view was great (right on Puget Sound). It brought back a lot of childhood memories for me when we would visit my aunt that lived right on Puget Sound in Gig Harbor. Definitely an awesome weekend.
Next year we're hoping more of you can make the trip.
Thanks again for your cigars and pulled pork Mark. Thank you Michael for your generosity with your cigar box-o-plenty and for driving. A BIG thanks to Neil for hosting, making us feel at home, providing good food and bombing us with good sticks.

Well, as you have already heard, I just got back from a great weekend. I had a great time. Wish you had all been there. It was fun. Mark, Michael, and Bryan are three fine fellows. It was nice getting to know each of them better. I'd like to thank them all for coming. Except for the Tacoma Rainiers not playing as well as we could have hoped, I could not have asked for a better weekend.
We started off the festivities with the exchanging of the cigars. We all had cigars for each other. If my count is right, over the weekend, 91 cigars changed hands between the 4 of us.
Mark brought some very tasty pulled pork. I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it. It was great. He also brought us each a Panacea for us all to try together. In addition he bombed all of us. Another cool thing Mark did was he brought us power line insulators that work great as cigar holders and look cool.
Michael brought me a Camacho 5 pack for hosting. I like Camacho. He gave us all an Alec Bradley Tempest and brought a box with a variety of cigars that he freely shared with all of us. I smoked three out of the box and he let me take two more for later. In addition he brought me my winnings from the contest he held a couple of months ago.
Bryan brought a bomb for all of us. He also brought the beverages. One of the cool things he did was located some Olympia Beer. I had not had one in about 20 years. They closed the brewery in Olympia and it is not made or sold there anymore.
We started off with a little conversation, had a great lunch and got down to a couple cigars. We had a little more food and then, sadly, Mark had to leave us. Michael, Bryan, and I then headed off to the Tacoma Rainiers game. They lost 14 to 5. It was still a fun game to watch. After we got back to the house we had a little more food. Then Bryan and I headed out for another cigar. This morning, after breakfast, Michael, Bryan, and I headed back out for one last cigar. Great weekend.
Awesome ashtray!
