Welcome to the eighth annual Birthday Bomb Exchange! This will be a year long exchange to give all you generous geeks another excuse to nail another geek with a killer bomb for their birthday.

Who can participate:

If your name is here you're invited to the year long birthday party, if not, enjoy the show and there's always next year.

What needs to be in the bomb:

Cigars of course! The bomb should have a minimum total value of $25 as customarily determined around these parts (CI box prices, etc), should contain at least 2 cigars, and each cigar should have at least a 3.5 star rating (so no pineapple white owls...unless it's a gag that is thrown in over and above the $25 bomb). There's no minimum or maximum value on each cigar, just make sure they're not dog rockets. There are no upper limits on the bomb value or size, spank that birthday boy as hard as you want! If you want to include something other than cigars in your bomb you're welcome to do so, just please meet the $25 value in cigars first and foremost.

When will it start:

January 1, 2023

When will it end:

December 31, 2023

Anything Else?:

Yes. Please make sure to leave feedback for your birthday bomber and please make sure to post a picture of your opened gift on this thread so all of us sitting at the birthday party table can be wondering why it can't be OUR birthday. If you need any help with embedding a picture in the thread let me know.

Also, on the subject of feedback, if you fail to bomb your target (I'm not talking about being a little late, I'm talking not sending it at all/ignoring communication type of behavior), you will receive negative feedback from me...and I will keep notes so that flakes don't make it into future birthday bomb passes.  I will generally remind everyone a few weeks ahead of time that their target is coming up but please mark your calendars as well.

And as I mentioned in the sign-ups, I have used a random number generator to select a target of my own for this year.  Someone will have 2 craters where their mailbox used to be, who will it be?

With all that said, have fun everyone!

Argh, sorry bud, yeah, it's a bit late to shake everything up now.  It's a shame there won't be any Jokey presents this time around.  Next year!

Thank you very much Ed!! This was a real surprise since I completely forgot about the bday pass haha!  Have had some health crap going on the last few months, head has been up my arse these days.  Thank you for the really generous selection!  I really want to try the Hyena Lonsdale - great vitola and I really like the stuff Black Works Studios comes out with.  You ever try the S&R?  That blend in the corona size is a killer

I actually have had the s&r, I have a few of the size you mentioned left.  I really go for a shotgun approach to cigar smoking. Love a little of everything.  Glad you like the selection! Like I said, some of my favs.  The ryj eternal is a great smoke too.. well one of my fav ryjs at the moment.

At least one player mentioned to me that they did not receive a PM about their target.  If anyone else that is playing is uncertain of who they are supposed to hit and when please let me know asap.  Hoping that was just a one-off somehow.  Thanks.

It depends on your browser.  Since the new CG is running on SSL now (https), and the link with the pic is non-SSL (http), some browsers won't allow mixing the 2 modes and therefore won't load the image.  Some browsers don't care.  I also added the pic as an attachment so everyone should see it.

Good to know, I actually upload these to my own server so I'll have to set up an SSL side or just attach it like you did :)
