Anyone have some Man O' War Ruination Belicoso's that your willing to trade? If so take a look through my Humi and PM me.

Thanks,

I think I have a couple tucked away. I'll check. Whilst browsing through your humi I noted some La Estrella Cubana Oscuros. Do your taste buds a favor and throw them things as far away as you can...unless you really, really like the taste of burnt shoe polish and rancid pond scum.

Yeah I belive so.
But I really liked the name "Wish Stealer". It had a Native American ring to it. -Brlesq

A wise geek once told me that moving up from a daily smoke to a weekly or even bi-monthly smoke would be worth it, if I could learn how to appreciate a really really good cigar. -southernrun

In a word...yes. Nasty is just too good a description.

There ya go, dissin' the LECs again.  My experience with them has not been that bad ... but then they had a decent nap in the humi.  Or maybe it's the McDonald's hamburger that I ate before smoking it ... after one of those meat-like abominations damn near anything would taste good.

Took me 15 years to figure out not to smoke while in the tomato garden.  The advent of the Internet finally gave me bad news.    :loser:

Can't plant them around Black Walnut trees either.  The Black Walnut roots excrete some kind of chemical that kills the tomatoes.  Growing tomatoes is one of my favorite hobbies so, hopefully if I can ever get finished remodeling houses etc., I'm looking forward to getting back to that...  :-)

Ya it seems like they always have to throw in 1 crap filler with just about any combo pack you buy these days. Still a great way to try new smokes and I guess ID bad ones helps too.

Eh? Why shouldn't you smoke near tomatoes??? Does it kill them or stunt their growth or something?

My family used to own a leisure farm that had tons of tomatoes...I was still a cigarette smoker back then..didn't really see how that would affect the tomatoes though.

What did google say?

Yes, please fill us in.  Inquiring minds want to know!

But while we're on the subject of gardening, when I used to work at AutoZone, I'd bring home buckets of the filings/shavings from the brake lathe and bury them around our pecan tree and other plants that liked iron...

Burning Tobacco won't kill the Tobacco Mosaic virus which tomato plants are susceptible to.  By smoking around your tomato plants, or handling them after smoking without washing up thoroughly, you run the risk of transmitting the virus to your 'mater plants and the next thing you know they're all puny and scrawny, and don't much make fruit.
