I actually have Scottish blood in me and I still just don't get whiskey.  So I don't think I will be joining.

Neil, definitely a taste that appeals to some but not others.  Once I got I got hooked, I found the world of whisky fascinating... Not unlike the subtle tastes and nuances of a good cigar.
