What's your favorite?

I had a "Carlito's Way" last time I was at Casa Fuente in Vegas, and it is now one of my all-time favorites.

1½ ounces Stoli Vanil vodka
¾ ounce Kahlúa coffee liqueur
A single shot of espresso
1 whole cinnamon stick for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a stick of cinnamon.

Absolutely fantastic with a maduro  :-)

If you like (real) cream and (real) sugar in your coffee, you can't go wrong with a dash of peppermint schnapps on a cold winter evening!

What would you want to ruin perfectly good booze for?

I enjoy a little bourbon or rye splashed in a cup of coffee myself.  Especially on a cool morning.

I prefer to have my Sambuca on its own, slightly caramelized by fire.

Mostly a good, dark roast straight up.  Love the strong flavor with a well matched cigar.  Although everyonce in  a while a little Red Stag Honey might fall in

Ken Kelley

Onct upon a time when I was stationed at Ramstein AB, FRG I had a cup of coffee in hand and was walking by the First Sergeants office. He yelled, "Come in here, LT!" He took my coffee cup and it disappeared behind his desk. I heard a glug-glug-glug then he handed it back to me. He had topped off the cup with Tullemore Dew Irish Whisky. That brightened my day considerably. That was back in the old days when such things were acceptable in the military. Sadly, those days have long perished.
