I took my sheltie to the vet today for her yearly shots and on the way home I lit up a CAO Italia Novella I picked up last time I was at Schwab's in Lexington.  It must not be a big seller because the cellophane was heavily yellowed.  Anyway, it was an outstanding little smoke.  Started off with a faint hint of anise before transitioning to a mellow coffee with cream taste.  Left a noticeable mocha aftertaste until I got down to the 2" point where I picked up a strong blast of roasted nuts, sorta cashewy like.  When I go over to Schwab's to pick up the Padron Anniversaries I have made up my mind to finally try, I'll see if there aren't a few more of those well-aged Novellas hiding in the big humidor...if I have any money left!
