I was brought up in another thread about putting something in the comment section when we have a bid on the devil site so we are not bidding against fellow geeks.

I put "CG 05venturer" in the comments on my bids.

There was talk about a list but I have not seen it so maybe we should fire one up.
I wouldn't want to be bidding against a fellow geek especially since anything I bid on always comes up again on the site.

This has been brought up before and there was a list of peoples name/handle on the different auctions sites. As good an idea it is, I do not think it is practiced much. While still use Cbid occasionally and I have a box coming today, I do not use it as much as I used to.

I think it's a great idea. Though I've been trying to keep away from the site.

I do the same. I was thinking that if we all just used CG in all caps, that would be easier than having to worry about a screen moniker. We could also use CGB...Cigar Geeks Bid...just a thought...OUCH!

The list is useful, but it would be better if people left "CigarGeek" in the comments so you don't have to reference the spreadsheet.  That isn't an option on the other auction sites.

yes, it is the devil site! While I do not bid much, my yard gar drawer was empty. Enter Cbid I got busted today by the mrs loading 120 cigars in the humi from 1 shipment yesterday and one today. Mind you they weren't boutique stuff, I load up once a year for yard gars and picked up some Cuba Libre One, Nica Libre, 5 Vegas Classic and some Series A. Hey, I was winning shyt I should have been outbid on. Needless to say the mrs. Was less than amused.

I look at Cbid 3 or 4 times a week but haven't bought anything in a year off there.
