I thought i would finally sit down and review one of the first cigars that only 6 months ago made me think "I really like cigars"
The Montie 4 is apparently Cuba's best selling cigar and its no surprise. The size is nice and doesn't scare you like bigger cigars, but its not too small as to only last 20min...

The no4 i had came from a local B&M and had been kept well, it had a nice chocolaty wrapper and that distinct Cuban tobacco smell.

After punching the cap the draw felt a little tight, but it was ok as it smoked.

After toasting the foot the initial puffs were quite spicy, but also very creamy.

first third was creamy with a earthy / leathery flavor with a nice background of pepper .

Second  third I noticed hints of coffee and when I cycled some of the smoke through my nose it was reminiscent of the Oliva G.

The final third was a little stronger with a more toasty flavor coming through.

Overall a great petite corona with great flavors and burn, I still don't give it 5 because I reserve that before I try the Montie No2
