Wow, that is such a great looking piece you have made.  Can't wait to see some updated pics once you got it filled up

I chose the miter frame because I could use a more decorative  moulding profile than a traditional stick & cope door, the joints are cut on a cnc miter frame machine that cuts a tenon on one side of the miter & a mortise on the other  there is probably as much or more actual glue surface than on traditional door style. Using a plywood carcase makes the cabinet more stable than affixing  two different hardwoods together in the case of Spanish cedar to mahogany which would expand & contract differently

  Nice! :bigthumbs:

Quotempurtle01 - 10/25/2014  5:42 PM  Nice, taking orders from Geeks any time soon?

Would be more than happy to help out anyone I can, in order to build one for somebody else I would have to run it through the shop as a regular cabinet order & then there would be shipping  I think it would be more cost effective to find a local cabinet shop that  could build something to your specific needs, I would be glad to offer any help or advice that I can.

Yeah it probally is a little overkill I tend to do that a lot & hopefully once its set in place I won't have to move it around. But the way things seem to going its going to be to small before it's done, Thanks to everyone here forcing Encouraging and or Enabling me to buy more & more cigars.

I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

Was able to work on humidor yesterday got the interior Lined with 3/8" spanish cedar, made a drawer with two removable trays, added an adjustable shelf. Took it home & applied "D" shaped foam weather strip to seal door put in the hydra sm humidifer & auxilliary fan, will pick up glass for door tomorrow and in a couple of days should be ready to start seasoning.

Also haven't decided on type of lock thinking about using a magnetic lock that is used to child proof cabinets it will keep door closed well & wont be visible from the front

Very nicely done. Looks quality. I'll be in the market for one of these in about 6 months time myself.

That's turning out very nice. I seen the other day where boveda packs makes a Seasoning Pack for new humidors says it takes 14days to work but I think something like that may be to high of a cost with the size of this humidor.
