Here is a link to use for future Google Herfs. Thinking this link should be available at anytime to hop on without having to set up a link each time.

Great idea Kent. I guess we just post up in this thread when we are on. Only thing is after it gets off the homepage we might not be able to find it.

Ok just for starters I joined this link 2 times from separate devices and it seems to be working fine. We have a permanent virtual Herf link  :dancing:  :thumbsup:

I had no issues with it on my home PC and phone. Also if some of us added the link into the area where we have our quotes and what not I think its called a Signature section here the link will show up when that person post on the site as well as here and the link can be on every page that way. See where it says Herf link on my post for example.

X2 just bookmark the link and then post a new thread when someone is hopping on.  Alternatively, update your Circles on hangouts and send invites/notifications to others when you enter the herf.

Makes perfect sense. Easy to find, yet not in the way either.

I still have to finish (been on hold for a few months) my man garage to join in on a (virtual) Herf. I mean, I'm not going to jump in, have to cope with all of you AND not smoke a cigar ;-) There has to be something in it for me right?  :biggrin:

The ventilation I'll put in there will make it possible to smoke inside while browsing a computer or working on one of many projects, I just can't wait.

The link works fine on my Macbook. I am a little confused -- when will the there by Herf get togethers? Can more than two people join in?

The google herfs happen just about every night, with Thursday being a very popular one. I believe it can host 9-10 geeks at a time. You might ask Stephen about the geek limit!

I think they had to change the link this week because the other one expired or something.

Someone usually posts nightly about starting up the herf, if you join in about 8pm est most nights you should find someone.

I believe the limit is 10.

This is not the admin you're looking for...
