I thought I had smoked all my San Cristobal Classicos I bought way back in 2011 but I found one today when I was poking through a tupperdore. The cello was  almost yellowed out so I took it with me when I went down to the Chebbie dealer to fetch my old truck with the $EXPENSIVE$ fuel line repair job. Smoked it on the way home and it was terrific! Took some of the pain out of spending almost $700 on repairs. Also got good news from the Dodge dealer too. They took my offer on a new Ram 3500 and knocked $4100 off the price...and there's a $2500 rebate on top of that. Got a test drive scheduled next Wednesday morning. Things are looking good.

Good Luck with the test drive of the Ram and nice cigar find. $700 buck for fuel line ouch what a kick in the nuts was the line gold plated?
You should hurry up and acquire the cigar habit. It's one of the major happiness's. And so much more lasting than love, so much less costly in emotional wear and tear.
Aldous Huxley

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace.

Ballsy move to smoke in a truck that just had some fuel line work done, I guess for 700 bucks you would have to assume they didn't screw up!

Ken Kelley

Hey! The Dodge Ram 3500 fits into my program here so I refuse to pay attention to brand hate. I bought a 1983 Dodge Ram pickup with the 318 way back when and loved that truck to death until I had to sell it before going to Japan. I've driven Chebbies for the past 20 years so I want to try something different....and that gubmint bailout didn't help their image in my eyes either...nor did all the recent GM recalls on the other Chebbies in our vehicle lineup. As for smoking a cigar in the old truck...the fuel line was fixed and the fumes dissipated rapidly. As far as I know the truck didn't burst into a ball of flame on the way home...although the cold dry weather did manage to cause the wrapper to give up when it got down to the 2" point so I had to ditch it. It was good while it lasted...better than good!

So, to recap:  Ken is going to drive his ram... and a new truck, all while smoking a San Cristobal after he got his leaky hose fixed.  Got it!

He's an old Air Force guy, a little fuel leak never hurt anyone.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

I know the smoking near a fuel line comment was tongue-in-cheek, but honestly, gasoline isn't that volatile.   You can toss a lit butt into a gas can and all it will do is extinguish the butt.  DAMHIK.

I saw a joke the other day, the jist of which was there are a lot of places being named in honor of Bill Clinton these days.  In fact Dodge is coming out with a new car in honor of Slick Willy, it'll be called the Dodge Drafter, and will be built in Canada.
