OK for some of you that have been on for some time, you are looking at the name and saying "That looks familiar"...lol.  You also know that I live in Ohio just outside of Cleveland.  I have been in a bind for quite sometime now.  Only able to pop my head in to see what has been going on every now and then.

I can now announce a HUGE life changing event for me.  I felt that under the circumstances....re-introducing myself might be the best avenue.

Yes, the Title of the thread is correct!!!!   I have placed notice to my current employer and on June 29th I will be taking a new position with the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  This has been a long time coming and I am very excited for the opportunities that lay before me.  It is a large and long distance move for me and the wife (and our 2 furry children).  But we are now MUCH closer to my in-laws in North Myrtle Beach, who are now advancing in age and we can be on hand to help if needed.   And Charleston is a Beautiful city....loved my short visit there.  If there are any BOTL's (or SOTL's) in the Charleston Area....I would Love to hear from you.

Look Out South...because I am a comin'!!!!

I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken....

It is difficult leaving.  I am a Season Ticket Holder and HUGE Tailgater in the Fall.  I will miss those guys....I will miss my Cigar Club and the building we have....I am moving away from my family and an area that has been my home for 36 years.....So yes this is/was very difficult to make this decision.

But I have so much waiting for me.  The opportunities open in this position are immense.  The Winters will be non comparable...lol  It is such a wonderful city.  We are looking at some wonderful homes....the beach will be a hop skip and a jump away...I am READY!!!!

Hello from Tampa bay!! Welcome to the south!!. Its gonna rain today
I used to sit outside all night and drink bud lite and smoke Marlboros and everyone thought I was a bum. Now I sit outside all night and drink craft beers and smoke cigars and everyone thinks I have class.

Good to hear from you again. Sound's like a great opportunity, make the most of it.
I am not concerned about what you think as I can tell you don't do it often.

Welcome back brother and congratulations on this big move, I hope it turns out great.

With any luck, you won't be missing winters too much, as it will surely snow regularly in SC in a few years if nature continues on it's actual path

Nice intro Pete and glad to see you joining us in the south! I travel to Charleston quite frequently as I have family in Mt Pleasant so, we will have to get together soon! Besides,  I think I owe you a box (or is it a can) of cigars for all your help!
