Just wondering the best way to store pipe tobacco?

Can I put it in my cigar coolidor?

Does all of it need to be humidified? How can I tell?

In mason jars on a basement shelf. That's all I do,no need for humidification.

I do the same, Mason jars. I'd stay away from keeping the jars in my cigar humidor but i use a small one that fits 4 short mason jars (just for looks, theres no actual humidification device in there). I've had some tobaccos for over a year that didn't dry out at all...

Since we are on the subject of storage, anyone know of a better way to store shisha other than in a tupperware in the fridge?

My father was a big Pipe smoker and he used to keep all his tobaccos in sealed jars, in the cold room. I remember "borrowing" some on many occasions and it was always fresh and moist.

I've read that it should be kept at around 10-18% RH away from direct sunlight.
